There's a few in WoW.

Most everything that happens with Akama and Maiev Shadowsong in the Black Temple.

The NE in Azuremyst that had his family massacred by the moonkin, then is reunited with his daughter that managed to escape.

The little space goat girl during Children's Week.

The NE siblings in Desolace where the brother turns on the sister after you help her fight her way into the prison.

All the events surrounding Tirion Fordring: his friendship with the orc Eitrigg, his exile to the plaguelands, his son joining the Scarlet Crusade. Whatever else happens in WotLK.

The "Lost in Battle" quest with the orc Mankrik in the Barrens where his wife is killed by quillboars.

The story of Morgan Ladimore where he goes mad upon finding his family dead and kills a bunch of innocent people, then becomes the ghoul Mor'ladim.

Obviously, the murder of King Terenas Menethil by his son Arthas as well as the murder of Uther the Lightbringer by Arthas.

Can't think of any time a game made me mist up, although I was a little saddened by what became of Big Smoke at the end of GTA: San Andreas.

Emotional reactions, sure - I durn near jumped out of my chair several times during the mission to recover the pendant from the Ocean Beach Hotel in Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines (the place is abandoned, half the lights don't work, spooky music ongoing; you enter one of the rooms, and suddenly everything goes dark, you're battered by flying objects, and when the lights come back up, the words GET OUT are carved into the wall above the bed...).

Playing WoW, the first time I got to the mission "The Embalmer's Wife", when I realized that the old hermit was in fact the villainous Embalmer, and had sent me running all over Duskwood risking my life to get him the components he needed to make a monster to terrorize Darkshire, I was genuinely angry, and so was my wife (who was also playing). We didn't get to bed until 2am, because we had to take the SOB down. I also got chills from the backstory of Stalvan Mistmantle. (I've only reached just over 30th level, so there are probably more stories like that waiting for me - I have been spoiled on the fact that one of the King's advisors in Stormwind is in fact the dragon Onyxia, because I've been in Stormwind when someone else has finished the mission.)

The endgame in Knights of the Old Republic II: the Sith Lords could have been moving, if LucasArts had only given the game's developers enough time to finish out the plotlines they had in mind (for instance, the final confrontation between the remote and G0-T0 - there must have been something more to it, because otherwise it was just stupid; also, there should have been much more in the final confrontation between the bounty hunter and her Wookiee arch-enemy - he hated her for making him owe a life-debt...).

I'm surprised that no-one has even mentioned the outro to Unreal II: The Awakening. (Not spoiling anything)

It was one of the most tearjerking endings I have ever seen.

Yeah. The Legend of Stalvan is pretty classic. The Embalmer's Wife is one of my favs too because of the similarity with the Lovecraft stories. I'm pretty sure I soloed the actual monster (not Stitches) as a frost mage pretty easily...definitely so as an affliction Warlock.

Darkshire is one of my favorite zones except for The Twilight Grove being stuck in the middle of it. I always end up flying to Sentinel Hill 'cause I hate running around the grove.

Unfortunately, Lady Katrana Prestor(the human form of Onyxia) is no longer in Stormwind Keep to kill, as the Onyxia's Lair attunement has been lifted, and King Varian Wrynn has returned to the throne as of Patch 3.0(I think). I finally got around to finishing the Ony chain on my main(pally) right before the patch. I actually got killed a couple times doing the escort out of BRD...as a healadin in T5/6 quality gear.

If you like the Darkshire quests, you'll love Stratholme. It actually reminds me a lot of Silent Hill in the movie. The lore behind it is pretty sad too...damn Arthas.

Misty:
A lot of moments in the first Kingdom Hearts
After Saix's death in Kingdom Hearts II (Though I don't know if that was because I was sad or because I was angry... or both.)
Some moments in FFX and in FFX-2

Crying:
The ending of Kingdom Hearts
The end of Roxas' 7 days in Kingdom Hearts II
Axel's death in Kingdom Hearts II
The cutscene with Larxene's death in Kingdom Hearts RE: CoM/Larxene's death in general (Though... those were tears of giddy happiness. "I kicked your a** you motherf****ing bi***! That's right! Let's see you hurt Namine now, you cow! *Evil laughter*")
The ending of FFX & the secret ending of FFX-2
The ending of Kingdom Hearts II (Semi-happy tears.)

Outright bawling:
The ending of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (I was up late beating that game the first time, and I was really attached to Namine... and it was just plain ol' sad. When Simple & Clean started playing... the tears started flying.)
Whenever I see Xaldin from Kingdom Hearts II (Because he scares me. A lot. I joke that I have Xaldin-phobia..... it's... only half joking. ;-; )

....Thats all I can think of right now....

The first fight in Rise of the Robots on the Super Nintendo when I realised I'd blown £20 on a turkey. (hey, I was 13 and VERY naive!)

And that's all.

Sorry I didnt include this in my first post, but I had forgotten about it. The Megaman Battle Network 3 ending made me just break down into tears  I still cry just thinking about it. Its a long ending, so I wont post it here, but you can find the 3 videos of it on youtube. Major spoilers.

...*sniff*...

I wouldn't say the ending was really that sad... it reminded me of Obi-wan's death in star wars episode 4, just with more immediate and drastic effects...

I've played a lot of videogames but have only cried over the ending to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2. As far as Aeris went, I sort of gasped, because my brother had already told me it was going to happen, and because I was youngish at the time and didn't fully understand the deepness of loss, and all that.

Most of the dreams in Lost Odyssey did the trick for me.
