I'm a woman and massively obsessed with games. It is weird that my all friends are having kids, and I am playing halo 3 all day, but i just go with it. Its the best! Stuff stereotypes...

I <3 video games. Fallout 3 and castle crashers for the 360 are my fave at the moment.

I'm looking forward to pokemon platinum!

My 10 year old sister plays Sims 2 and Catz. I've been trying to make her play Battlefield 1942, but it's not going well. :lol:

That being said, some of the girls I've talked to online play more than I do.

oooh I loved Catz and Dogz back when I was 10 lol (we had Dogz..and Oddballz come to think of it ),
I often daydreamed about letting my 'pet dog' step out of the computer so I'd have a miniature dog to take wherever I wanted...the hours I spent caring for a digital dog... sigh...
Just be patient with her :lol:

But, yes, I don't think it's weird for girls to play games.
I am surprised at how many boys (that I know of) are surprised that I'm a gamer though, it's like I'm a totally different species or something to them ("You game?????? *stares* *gamer antenna's start twitching* Wow... It's not often that a girl plays video games....").

I'm a male gamer, and I don't think it's weird. If a girl likes video games and/or computer games, more power to them.
I can only wish there were more of these gamer girls around where I live, I'm still single

Actually, i don't really like blood elves or people that look like them o.O they look anorexic and arrogant (noisy too), now draenei female, that's where the booty's at ^.- .

Also, my sister used to play "soft" games like spyro and the like, but she rarely often plays anymore, the big gamers here remain my brother and i... (my mom plays Solitaire on the pc, but i doubt that counts...) I once had my dad try WoW, he said it was complex and he never got past lvl 5... <.< (played a human mage) And he's an engineer for the record. He used to play car games though (Gran turismo, mostly, but only my brother was really into those...). It's still a pity because since he works so much and we spend our time playing, he hates our games for taking much of our time. -.-
