Electronic Arts' Origin service acts the same as Steam and I recently spent $5.00 on the Origin Humble Bundle sale that netted me like 12 games on Origin including Burnout Paradise, Battlefield 3, Crysis 2 Maxium version, Dead Space 1 & 3, and Mirror's Edge.

That was a great way to obtain EA games without giving that corporation a single penny.

On Steam, there is a Sonic the Hedgehog bundle that costs $29.99 and consists of 17 games. Both SEGA Racing games, Sonic Adventures, the Genesis Sonic games, Sonic CD, and others are part of that package.

SASRT is an epic port, the game is better than Mario Kart imo and it actually has local multilayer. I don't know why so many developers strip split screen support from pc games. Now that PCs are moving into the living room, maybe more games will support it now.

I looked into GOG.com for a few seconds and I was surprised: they have many classical PC games, exactly the kind of game I like. Unfortunately, they only support Windows and Mac, while I use Ubuntu. :(

Sorry for this terrible joke, by the way.

Most of their games are DOS games, and I'm pretty sure they have DOSBox for Ubuntu, so you should be set ;)

Only thing is, they package their games with all of the DOSBox files mixed into the folder, so you have to go in and find all those files and delete them =| Unless you don't mind a bunch of wasted space on your hard drive.

GOG.com, as stated is more free, and there are various lists of games that run on Linux on that site. Wine is a powerful tool, too.
