Tonight Sony and Activison announced that all Call of Dutys starting with Black Ops 3 this year will receive all the DLC and other content as a timed exclusive to PS4 before heading to other systems and PC.

The beta will also be a PS4 exclusive.

Also only PS4 version of Call of Duty will be marketed and showed off until launch day.

It is widely believed when Microsoft held this deal last generation, it made Xbox 360 beat out PS3 in sales.

To repeat Sony has stolen the most important gaming franchise from Microsoft.

Interesting. I wonder if this means that the Xbone will become the "Battlefield" console.

lol

I'm surprised CoD is still selling enough to keep Activision attached to it, I figured the kiddies would've moved onto something else by now.

It's got guns and blood and explosions. And it's a "mature" game, I type out with extreme sarcasm. Not to mention I hear it's kinda on the simple side, particularly the single-player.

Of COURSE it sells. Stuff like that always does these days. Irritating.

You'd be surprised how many systems Call of Duty has sold over the past 10 years.
