I broke the current record holder Doc Mack from Brookfield, IL (1,720,750 was the high score) with 2,411,075 points and I almost beat out one of the original developers in the game NARC for the all time score.

What is NARC?

Is that an acronym or are you referring to the 1988 arcade game NARC or perhaps the 2005 remake of NARC. More information is required before I am impressed and it might still not happen cause I have not played either versions of NARC.

Congratulations though, I have come close to some world records myself. I am not too far behind at a Silent Hill speedruns at 48m 52s when the record is 32m 56s and came closer with Silent Hill 3 at 38m 44s when the record is 32m 43s. I dislike the idea of speedruns and only accomplished this by playing the games over and over and over again. I was playing through all the new games modes in Silent Hill 3 and there are 12. One on Hard, one on very hard, and than extreme modes 1-10. I have completed more Silent Hill than I have any other video game I believe. I have won the first one just shy of 25 times, Silent Hill 2 14 times and Silent Hill 3 18 times. I have only won Silent Hill 4 once, as the series began to go downhill after that and now Silent Hill is an embarrassment to the original trilogy.

Both, if memory serves.

It's a pretty good game, though the Mortal Kombat style digitized graphics are a little bit dated =)

The NES has a pretty decent port of it too, though it's censored. The controls take a bit to get used to, though.

The "remake" was pretty decent, I thought, but the last two missions really show how far the game was from completion. I'm surprised the game was released in the state it's in, because the end of the game is IMO pretty unplayable.

The arcade game is a classic, though I've only ever played it on Midway Arcade Treasures 2. Might need to find a MAME rom of it. The NES version is lulzy fun too, I'm surprised they got away with making it as gory as it was. How many other NES games (aside from Bionic Commando) allow you to explode someone into giblets with a rocket propelled grenade? :P

Hard, and super gorey.

I beat it once, but I can't remember if I cheated or not...

Is that one of those anti drug campaign games?

I'd laugh if the guys who made NARC were actually a bunch of stoners. :P

I actually really hope that's true now. I mean, it probably is.
