What do you mean by in the wrong place?

If you're running Belly Drum, I would definitely recommend Waterfall over Hydro Pump, since Hydro Pump misses out on the attack boost.

I went over the national pokedex again this weekend, and sure enough, they are in the right place.

Good suggestion. I hadn't even given the fourth move much thought.

I have downloaded a Pikachu-coloured Pichu today. It feels bizarre to own a Pichu at level 30 and a Togekiss at level 2.
I could download another one, as I have two Generation IV game cartridges.

One of the best plans for a Pickachu group is to have it know Volt Tackle which usually requires having the Pickachu/Raichu hold a light ball when mateing.

Yeah, and a Pikachu isn't very good offensively without holding a Light Ball.

I used to love Pokemon. I remember playing ALL of the Pokemon games obsessively. But as of now, I haven't even touched a single Pokemon game in 8 years, when I was 10. Perhaps, I was sick and tired of the same RPG system. But now my interest is renewed and I am really excited for Heart Gold.

Yeah, I was the same way. Around a year ago, though, I heard about Pokémon Platinum coming out, and I remembered just how much I loved Pokémon. So I started looking up stuff about Pokémon again, and then got re-obsessed. :D

I just read PLA's post about catching Mespirit in the "What are you doing now?" thread, and it reminded me of another part of the games I enjoy.

I actually really like tracking down the roaming Pokémon all over the region they're in. If it's one I want on my team, like Latios for the Frontier in Emerald, I'll use a trick to get them fast (trick in Emerald: use repel, have your first Pokémon be one level lower than Latios so the Repel doesn't get him too, then go in and out of the Cycling Road building (so you don't have to keep getting back on your bike) until he's in the same route. Then hop up and down on your Acro Bike until he appears). But if I'm catching them just to catch them, I'll actually track them all over the region, without using Fly, until I get them in the same route. Then a Spore from Breloom (or Parasect, if I'm playing Generation II) ensures that I have a few turns to whittle down their HP. It's just plain fun to do it this way. I'll find something to watch on TV or something to listen to on the radio, and then spend a couple of hours tracking them down.

I never use any escape blockers, like Mean Look or Arena Trap, so I only get one turn per encounter even if I put them to sleep. Luckily, they never ever wake up this way, as they escape before having spent a turn sleeping. Which is really bizarre if you think too much about it. :)

I'm using a Gallade with Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Double Team and False Swipe as my dedicated catcher. My casual catcher is just a Bronzong with Hypnosis.

I caught Cresselia, the legendary birds and Mesprit over the course of the last three days, so there's no roamer left now.

Oh, yes. Spiritomb can be caught with the Pokewalker, with none of that socialising fuzz from the Hallowed Tower, and no official Nintendo event. Just unlock the national pokedex and get grinding.
I've wanted to have a Spiritomb with Confuse Ray and Will-O-Wisp.

I just tried to take on the Elite Four in Platinum with lvl 50 pokemon, This team I trained from early on, so none of them are anything really special (Gardivoir, Rapidash, Crobat, Torterra, scyther and Luxray), my team has very little actual training, most was from trainers. My team was pretty much overpowered from the first trainer, and most of the time my pokemon were didn't have much of an advantage, in fact a lot of the time they had moves that devistated me, especialy Ice Fang, if I had that move at least I would have had an advantage against a few. But I took it as a test of seeing how I could cope under the handicaps, I managed to get all the way up to the last one, but my level 50s just couldnt get past a level 62 Gachomp that was so high that my moves barely did anything and it was nearly one hit KOing.

So I am pretty confident that if I trained them up a bit I could out. I just have been enjoying useing this game to see if I could use my experience to win at lower levels. The idea came from when I played Pokemon Crystal, I thought my Pokemon were really strong, especialy my Tyranitar, I rarely had too much trouble, but when I played it on Pokemon Stadium 2 amd verse pokemon on the same level I was surprised to find mine were not as good as I thought. Others I used were legendaries to over power them. But where was the sport in legendaries, how was it fair that my opponent could use only fairly common pokemon, and I could use Ho-oh and Mewtwo, and I could still lose at times.

I have since thought that any idiot could train pokemon up high levels, use a legendary, a full type advantage and beat a weaker opponent, only somone with skill can do the opposite, and it feels more rewarding.

Oh yeah, for some reason I completely left out the Mean Look part. I use Umbreon so I can Mean Look and then Baton Pass to my Breloom. Then he uses Spore and False Swipes until they wake up. Once they do, I run (to keep it going longer).

On the other hand, untrained legendaries have nothing on wellraised commons.

I just beat the Elite Four for the third time on Platinum, and I'm going to do it again when I'm done here on WP. I'm mostly trying to power up the Rival, but the money and experience is welcome.

The powered up Elite Four are actually pretty tough. I had intended to train a few newcomers, but if I bring more than one at a time I'll have to waste a lot of items to get through. So I'm currently training a Gardevoir along with my old team.

Just Bronzong, Honchkrow, Ambipom, Gyarados and Infernape. All of them have at least one TM or Tutor move.

Just took my newly EV trained Gardevoir for a run by the Battle Arcade. I was very impressed. I evidently did it right.
Breezed through the 21 battles and defeated Arcade Star Dehlia. Of course I realise that the Arcade isn't the most fair testing ground available, but the only really dangerous pokemon I encountered were Cacturne and a Vigoroth with Vital Spirit and Pursuit. (My Infernape was an excellent back-up in those situations.)

So close to the release of HG/SS! I can't wait to breed an Aggron with Head Smash. That thing is a beast with Substitute, Head Smash, Focus Punch, and Aqua Tail.

Substitute is a move I never really used until I got back into Pokémon last year. I just never realized how useful it was. It's awesome to use Substitute and watch your opponent's attempt to status you fail completely. Cacturne is an awesome Pokémon to use Substitute with. A set with Substitute, Focus Punch, Sucker Punch, and Swords Dance is great.

I'm looking forward to having a Linoone with Pickup, Rock Smash, Whirlpool, Strength and Cut. :P
That's not until the National Dex, of course.

I have strained eyes today, but I fixed two movesets. My gimmicky Articuno has Mind Reader, Sheer Cold, Reflect and Roost. Too bad Stone Edge is so common, or it would have incredible durability. The problem is that a critical nullifies the Reflect.
I also put elemental punches and High Jump Kick on my Medicham. Now I just need to beef it up a bit.

Five more items to complete the Villa.

Edit: No, six.
