In Tant R, there's around 30 different mini-games.

Yeah, but if they chronoshift too far, they freeze for a minute to regain their energy, making them vulerable to enemy fire.

Also, said chrono legionarres have special neutron guns that don't destroy a target... it simply erases it from the time-space continuum.

Chrono legionarres cost $1500 per unit to train.

Hehe, still a good unit.

In Final Fantasy XII, there are things called Technicks which give characters special non-magic abilities.

In the Final Fantasy series, certain abilities used by enemies can be used by certain members of the party. Enemy skills magic is often referred to as "Blue Magic", although it has also been referred to as 'Lore' and 'Enemy Skills' (in VI and VII respectively). Blue Magic of sorts has existed in all FF games from V to XI. However, the only skills approaching 'Blue Magic' in XII are the Technicks, which includes the favourite '1000 Needles'. Either the Blue Mage has to be the target of the spell, use a certain item, or use a certain skill on an enemy (Eat, Lancet). Here are a few choice examples:

*1000 Needles: Inflicts 1000 HP of damage, or in multiples of said value. Usually learned off Cactuars.

*Bad Breath: Inflicts the target with multiple status effects. Uusally learned off Marlboros.

*Aqua-Breath: Hits all enemies for water damage.

*Roulette: Chooses randomly friend or foe for Instant Death.

The Ravenhom section of Half Life 2 is sometimes called Resident Half Life by fans since there are tons of zeds in Ravenholm.

In Metal Gear Solid 3, Ocelot is the child of the Boss and the Sorrow. Eva alludes to this if you call her repeatedly in the cave section, and the Boss fills in the other half of the story just before the final battle.

This also explains the "magic arm" plotline from MGS2, if you suppose that Ocelot inherited his father's necromantic abilities, but cannot control them. Liquid used the transplated arm as a vessel to effectively possess Ocelot.

Also in MGS3--

You can kill the End by simply saving the game and waiting a week or changing the clock on your console. He'll die of old age (how many other games can you do that in?)

If you ask Para-Medic about vampire bats early on, save the game while imprisoned and reload it, you will enter a bizarre Bloodrayne-like minigame. After a few minutes of playing this, Snake will wake up from the nightmare. You get some really funny responses if you call everyone at that point.

In Soul Calibur 2 and 3, characters have joke weapons which can be unlocked by playing enough. Seigfried fights with a Galley Oar, Yoshimitsu with a Shepherd's Crook, Xianghua with a Calligraphy Brush, Lizardman with boned meat and a saucepan, and Nightmare with a Giant Squid.

Also, if you play a huge amount of battles on SC3, you unlock a video which was basically the developers having some silly fun with the system. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZVLRYZzC2g is an easier way to view it.

Actually, just saving and loading in the cell triggers the mini-game. The "dream" is likely caused by Snake's conversation with Para-medic after saving.

Also, in subsequent games, you can kill The End while he's in his wheelchair. You must quickly equip the Dragunov and shoot him in the head before he's carted off. Later on, you'll have to deal with troops in The End's place. I'm not sure if this works with the Mosin Nagant, though.

Or, when he appears in his wheelchair during a cutscene earlier in the game - after the scene is over, you have a few seconds in which to kill him with your SVD. This requires having already picked up the rifle a few screens ago (which isn't compulsory - some people don't get it until the battle with the End). Also, you have to be very quick - once you've shot the guy pushing his chair, you have a split second to shoot him before he rolls away.
And finally, run to one side after he dies... or his wheelchair flies through the air and hits you.

Electronic Arts is out to ruin their reputation even more after planning to make System Shock 3 as a straight-up FPS, with the team that made The Godfather working on it.

In Test Drive Unlimited for xbox360, I have earned a total of over $53,000,000, and have paid almost $2,000,000 in penalty fines alone. I also have three Pagani Zondas.
