Have you encountered any of the crazy glitches: flying people (substituting birds), donkey woman, bucking cart, etc?

Nope, the only "glitch" I've had with it has been during one of the horse breaking missions I managed to get the horse stuck in some scaffolding and had to dismount and abort the mission, other then that the game has run flawlessly.

Despite it's age Morrowind is SUCH a good game, the gameplay can't stand up to Oblivion but the story is so much better :).

Yup. Morrowind's story and setting are much better (though the "now you must convince everyone in the universe to vote for you" bit was time-consuming.) Oblivion is too generic and the "close the demon portals" plot has been done to death. Shivering Isles is supposed to be good, though. I've got it but never played it.

...i never really had a huge deal of love for either of them. i geuss they're good ideas for games but they're so badly programmed that the game just isnt fun. although on the flipside, the glitches do make the games funny enough to be enjoyable.

Currently I can't pick. I'm playing Fallout 3, GTA 4, ArmA 2. All three are unique in their own way.

My favorite game of all time is Elder Scrolls series.

My most-fond remembered game is the original Unreal. Oh that was so stunning back in the day!

I've played through a couple different ones, and I think my favorite is the Gold version for Sega Genesis.

Too bad it seems to be kind of on the pricey side =/ Otherwise I'd snatch it right up.

Well... it's one of those strange things, but I can't work up any enthusiasm to play either Daggerfall or Morrowind, while I do still feel like playing Oblivion, even though I prefer the others. Guess I'm shallow enough to be swayed by flashy graphics. :) I didn't think Morrowind was badly programmed, mind.

The same goes for a lot of old games, like Elite or the original Fallouts or even UFO  , or a game called Apocalypse which I went out of my way to get a copy of and then never got into.
