Also, the fact that the analog sticks weren't clickable really limited some functionality.

On one hand, I like clickable analogue sticks because it gives me annoying noises to do while we're sitting at loading screens.

On the other hand, I really hate clickable analogue sticks because some games actually use them for things, and it's nearly impossible not to accidentally click them.

Maybe that's just me, but I really hated when I'd actually put some effort into playing Halo...I'd be on someone's tail, ready to pull the trigger, and then BAM...I pull my binoculars out :x

And having to hold down the analogue stick to crouch is the most ret*d idea ever.

...and then I go back into my "Halo is boring, give me a Warthog so I can do donuts." mode =)

Oh yeah! I was debating whether I should pick N64...

I really liked the functionality of the N64 pad (aside from the fragile joystick), but using the center handle, there's this nub of plastic on the left side that rubs on my finger and causes quite a bit of discomfort.

Similiar bit with the 360's wireless controllers.

That is a necessity after all.
If the analogue stick doesn't click, I just use L and R. The GC ones are almost as satisfying as the sticks since they go in really deeply when you press them.

EDIT: ... That's what she said!

I've never liked the XBOX/XBOX 360 controllers, I've always felt they were too bulky.

I did vote for PS3, which for all intents and purposes is identical to the PS1 and PS2 controllers save for minor details. That said, I have to agree with the person who said that the triangle button is difficult to press when you're already utilising the square and cross buttons. I usually end up using my index finger, which is awkward.
