Come to think of it, I would marry Samus from Metroid.

Yuna and/or Rikku from Final Fantasy X. Or maybe Chie from Persona 4.

Look at all 3 in order for continuity in the story.

Oh baby Jesus, deliver me from what I just read. Please let this not be true. My mind cannot take it. This is THE saddest thing I've ever, ever heard of. I mean... this... no.

This man makes that Sephiroth fangirl look sane (you know, the astral projection one- she has an ED article)

Sure, I can get intensely attached to videogame characters, but I'd not go as far as to marry one!

(for the record, I went through a period when I was about 11 of thinking I was Waluigi's wife. I even bought a purple and black ring to signify our union... now when I look back at it I feel like such a dork)

Okay, I admit it. When I was a teenager, I had a crush on the protaganist from Titan A.E. but it never got that extreme. I doubt I could even be considered one of those "crazed fan girls". He was already taken anyway. Either the man is doing this as a publicity stunt or is seriously delusional.

I recall reading some where but don't quote me on this but it was an advertising stunt for the game

Oh yeah, I remember that. I have nothing against the Japanese, but you gotta admit that some crazy s**t happens in the land of the rising sun.

As a major otaku I must concur with this.

I mean, what gamer/otaku hasn't dreamed of marrying their favorite game/anime character. I'm just astounded this guy had the stones to take the initiative LOL

I wonder what they're gonna do for the honeymoon?

Heh, my brother always used to make jokes with me about me getting married to Chun-Li from Street Fighter 2, because I was so obsessed with her. I dunno if I'd go THAT far. (grumbles)

And I too don't mean anything racist when I say it, but...them Japs sure are strange, aren't they? lol
