What race/class you think i should be?

Rogues AOE? The heck? I can't think of a single rogue aoe attack....
Hunters can have insanely high pve dps. I know a hunter that I have SEEN pull 6-8k dps only partially raid buffed.
Warriors I can't say much on, one class I never touch
DK's, as you say, are good, but almost nobody is good and they keep getting nerfed. The fact that they are a "Hero" class and many other classes can eat them says something
Paladins: All that plus LoH
Almost unlimited mana if played right as well.
Priests: Priests can be nasty, but are are very squishy unless Discipline.
Druids: I hate them with a passion. Ganked so many times be damn Boomkins/Ferals I can't even say, and Tree is just unfair. Nerf them. NEEEEEEEEEEEEERF them.
Warlocks: Lowest single target dps? Does this include after a dot rotation and a chaos bolt? Once dots are on Lock DPS is nasty as heck.
Edit: Forgot Mage: A mage can be summed up in three words - Human Vending Machine

Rogue have Fan of Knives and in some case you could count blade flurry and distract
plus you forgot to mention Shamans
In WotLK I believe they gave rogues AoE, made warrior AoEs better, all that.
Warlock DPS is high if you tab DOT other targets while nuking the main target *I think*. As I said I stopped playing at the start of WotLK. I did play a warlock in vanilla WoW and tab DOT'ing other targets was a major contributor to warlock DPS. If you just sit there and nuke like a mage of course DPS will be down. Also people always forget pet DPS.

Ah yes, FoN, I had forgotten.
Shamans: Who do the Voodoo? You do! (But, stay away from the Voodoo or I'll put a hex on ya)
My descriptions are from WotLK. Vanilla was different and so was BC (I played both). At 80 a lock's Chaos Bolt can hit a PLAYER for 17k crits...... Locks at end game can pull over 13k dps, and I have seen 709.5k pulled in raids/groups I was in.

No, trust me. My main is currently a raiding warlock in ICC. Our highest scaling tree is affliction which is the worst multi-target tree (but best AoE tree) because of the fact it NEEDS Haunt and Shadow Embrace for 43% of it's damage, and those can only be kept on a single target at a time. This tree scales at a factor of about 6.1, whereas Destro and Demo are both under a factor of 6, and Mages Arcane and Fire tree's both scale at almost 6.5.
This is why warlocks are getting buffed next minor patch. Also, I always include pet dps. Especially since all three tree's actually have pet talents that are useful now, (Felguard, imp Felhunter and Empowered Imp for their respective tree's)
Also, yes, Rogues FoK's used to the be the strongest aoe in the game until 3.2 came out and they nerfed it hard. Now they can still do decent aoe, but no more 15k dps on 8 pack groups.

709k is theoretically impossible unless you have a parse of less than a second. Even AoE cannot reach that because of the damage cap. 13k dps is possible, but never on a single target non-gimmick fight. Only on AoE.
The highest non-gimmick dps reached by a player in a raid for a sustained boss kill was 111k by a SPriest on Hard-mode Anub'Arak.

A good resource to use would be www.elitistjerks.com
Their forums, specifically the class ones, will show the current trends and specs for raiding, and normally pvp as well. Thankfully, in order to post you have to use english grammar and punctuation, unlike 99% of other gaming forums.

That was my bad, I meant to say 7-9.5... hit 0 instead of - by mistake and missed it...

Ah that makes MUCH better sense lol. I normally run around 7-7.5k on single target, depending on fight (broke 11k on Twins, that was fun) and AoE I run around 15k. Luckily our DK's aren't the greatest so I beat them in AoE. And I'm about to switch to a DK main today, so I should pull around 18-19k on the AoE pulls.

Any game get's boring and repetitive if you play it constantly. To me, pvp is the same thing over and over, the only variety is what class I go up against, and seeing as there are only 10 classes, that's not much in way of variety. Besides that, I have disliked pvp since BC launched. WoW has always been a pve game and Blizz has continually and constantly and will keep constantly nerfing pve because of pvp.
If you couldn't tell, I dislike arena's.
Also, I underestimated how much aoe I'd do on my DK. I was pulling 22k on the trash packs after Saurfang. Damn I love unholy.
