I think the first Portal is. Glados tells Chell she might not like it outside (referring to the Combine invasion).

If Portal 2 takes place all these years later, this means the Combine are already defeated (if Ep3 ends well that is).
I wonder if we get to see anything from the outside world. Maybe statues of the great leader Gordon Freeman :P

I really hope EP3 and Portal 2 are released at the same time.

Yeah. I am sure Glados referenced the combine invasion, but how would she know?

Well I think she has a link with the outside world. Aperture has multiple facilities and she must be able to contact those I think.
That being said, I'm REALLY curious about Aperture's role in Ep3. I wonder what the Borealis will be like.

And unless Gabe has his head up his ass, I think if they both came out at the same time I'm sure he would have said something about it at E3.

Portal 2 has successfully distracted me from the tragic lack of information regarding HL2ep3.

Oh. The way you worded it made it appear you were referring to a game that was available for purchase.

With that arguement, I counter by stating that you do not own HL2:Ep3 either ;)

I shall state that I own every game ever released by Valve. ^.o

In relation to the thread, what do you people think of Wheatley?

Alright! Portal 2 is coming out soon! I've seen gameplay from the first portal game. and it was awesome. I've seen many videos for the second, and I'm like: "I would've never thought of doing that!" and "Wow, this is just too cool!" Portal 2 is going to rock. What is this about a co-op mode? Wait a minute...co-op!! You mean as in two players at once!? (Pausing a long pause) AMAZING! Does that mean 4 portals at once? That would intensify puzzles, make teamwork key to each person's success. Oh, and did I mention...INTENSIFY puzzles!?
