Mecha period. Call me crazy but any game with mecha is better than anything without it. I prefer Xenosaga to Final Fantasy, Cyberstorm to Command and Conquer, etc.

In theory open to anything. though I can't seem to make the leap to Nintendo . I think it's ingrained from my school days the few people that gamed at my school where Nintendo fan boys (their were no girl gamers back than) they where the vilest rudest most arrogant people imaginable , may be theirs truth to that Nintendo gamer stereotype, spoilt middle class Caucasian brats, well that was my experiences anyway...

I was the Sega fanboi stereotype rebellious , poor, highly uneducated from the hood (well trailer park actually) though I wasn't black!

I saw an old " friend " from high school the other day his in IT  now and still collects Nintendo related stuff yet he to wont make the leap over to Sega!

Maybe I should give Nintendo a chance Mad World looks pretty appealing......

Everything... No I'm not kidding. With the possible exception of childish games, games so easy and dumbed down a 3 year old would feel insulted, and shovleware casual games.

I play any genre of games (except casual games), but my 3 favorites are these:

3- First person shooters.

2- Action/adventure third person games.

1- RPG (eastern and oriental, I like both gaming philosophies)

Regards.

Action/adventure, like Metroid and Zelda, are my favourites by far.

Strategy games are good. I want to play Age of Empires, Age of Mythology and Stronghold Crusader again...

Role-playing games are okay. The Elder Scrolls series I like (I have mostly played Morrowind, Oblivion a little as well) and Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series are brilliant.

Puzzle flash games on sites like Kongregate and Miniclip are my favourite flash games, especially when they involve you controlling a character like action/adventure but with some special ability or something to get through the levels.

ZELDA

The one thing that has me close to buying a Wi, simply for that game.

Heard there is a newer one. Is this true?

Stuff where you can create your own character. (if it isn't possible to create what is to me a good-looking/interesting character I'll be very annoyed, possibly not like the game at all due to it.)
That would mostly be role-playing games then...
I'm fine with both first person and third person.
Single-player I like better, less pressure. (...and less intimidating people  )
I'd prefer one with an open world rather than one that is more restricted.
I'd also prefer there to be loads of mods available for the game :P

To be fair, I haven't really played that many different games.

Ergh, I'm annoyed with myself. I use way too many emoticons. (and I was tempted to put one even here...fail)
