I managed to beat Tower Knight on my first try today and Adjudicator on my first ever try. Yay! Using the Cling Ring instead of the Thief's Ring helped a lot cause I got hit a couple of times but managed to survive whereas before it would result in a one hit kill.

Congratulations on beaten Tower Knight and Adjudacator. With a magic based character Tower Knight is pretty easy but for melee characters he can be brutal. Glad you beat Adjudactor as now you have gotten to the best farming area so you can get a few more levels and quite a bit of equipment.

When I said 4-1 I was really just talking about anywhere in the level as the skeletons are prominent and give you a good amount of souls (it's an insignificant amount later on but 258 Souls is almost one soul level near the start) but you have gotten to 4-2 so that doesn't matter too much anymore. A word of advice is not to use the boss souls as they can be given to various NPCs for different items.

I know most people like to figure stuff out on most things, especially this game (it's half the fun) but I would recommend the demon's souls wiki for enemy strategies and what not it helped me immensely, i believe I'm currently on my 5th playthrough now and loving it.

My own advice, don't worry about the heavy armor, stick with leather it allows you to dodge roll very quickly and if you make it to New Game+ you'll see why dodge roll is a necessity. a normal mob arrow can insta-kill you in NG+, heavy armor or no.
