Canceled Games/Games you wish existed

i just want them to finish the xenosaga storyline already. they were going to make allen a part of the party and then they drop the project. WTH!?

they drag the guy around for 3 straight games, and he finally shows what he's made of and they cancel O_o *holy hell twitch* not to mention the team was drifting in an area of black nothingness, what happens to them now.

i may have ditched kingdom hearts for the stupid games that got made for it [after 358 i lost interest] i still want to see the destruction of hollow bastion the last missing piece of xemmy's history. i was hoping that it would be in bbs or the next game but alas.

i want sega to properly finish the adventure series, from 2 up. any recent game does not count as part of the storyline, i want it continued from 2.

I want Jagged Alliance 3. There have been rumors it's still in development, but I'm pretty sure it's abandonware. I'll believe it's still being worked on when I see any evidence.

2.A remake of Shadow the Hedgehog
4.Star Fox
5.Crash Bandicoot
6.Time Splitters
7.Half Life
8.A remake of Freekstyle

And also:
9.A remake of the "Thunder" videogame series(including Arctic Thunder, and Hydro Thunder).

I war 3... because Newtonian Physics based space combat rocks!

10.Sled Storm.

While we are talking about games that shouldn't of been canceled, it's a pity that now one here has yet mentioned Warcraft Adventures. That was going to be an adventure game by Blizzard in the lat '90s that told the story of how Thrall united the Horde after the events of Warcraft 2 but it was eventually canceled. That's a game that I wished existed although I'm glad that Blizzard still considers the story cannon and included Thrall's character in both Warcraft 3 and WoW.

They should make another Midtown Madness game for the PC. They should have made Midtown Madness 3 for the PC too, as it would be a lot more fun, as other people probably make new cars, tracks, and other addons for it, like what people did for the first two. People are still making new cars, tracks, and other addons for Midtown Madness 2, even eleven years after its release. They canceled the Midtown Madness 3 PC release.

There was a castlevania game set to be developed on Dreamcast, it would of been epic. Also the Chakan the Forever Man sequel for ps2. It was canned and cannibalized to make Blood Omen 2

probably some kind of Metroid game for the Nintendo 64 because there was a Metroid game for the NES, SNES, GCN and Wii but not the N64

hmm... being a fan of futuristic racing games I would say either:

A new F-Zero game on the new wii
Remake of Wipeout 3
New Wipeout game
or a proper contestant to the above

Many of the competing hovercar games like the above usually suffer from horrible steering, it's hard to get right, but many of them just plain suck and could use a few more hours undergoing gameplay tests...

A sequel to Fatal Inertia. While the tracks weren't that great, there were some quite innovative weaponry in this game mostly based on magnetism. With better tracks, updated graphics, more vehicles and better customization options, it could have potential to become a rival to F-Zero and Wipeout.

A remake of Rollcage or a sequel with better-than-PS1-graphics... considering you can destroy buildings in the old games, a sequel or remake could enrich the game with lots of physics goodness... as well as the classic driving on walls

and at last, but not least, a new game in the Extreme-G (XG) series, I always liked that you could break the sound barrier by simply going fast enough.... on a current- or next-gen system it would be spectacular.

outside futuristic racing games i'd be content with an FPS where single player mode doesn't suck because it's short as hell, has teammates dumber than wet cardboard or where you get stuck due to a goddamn glitch every two seconds...

a Pokemon mystery dungeon game where you have 4 people to start with and can choose your type Pokemon and partners [choosing partners you could already do] and have 2 of they same type like fire fire water grass

Shenmue III, Shenmue IV, Shenmue V, Shenmue VI, Shenmue VII. I think a total of seven games were supposed to happen. Shenmue I and II were the only games I ever felt completely happy with.

It's sad that no one's mentioned the Shenmue games, yet. But at least Yu Suzuki, in a recent interview, still feels that Sega will let him make at least a third game...

Sega were such innovators, back then... but now look at them. I guess it was that damned Sammy company that ruined it all, with their sneak merger.

First and foremost, Mother 3/Earthbound 2 (along with Mother/Earthbound 0). Nintendo is practically promoting piracy with their refusal to localize it! Heck, you could probably put all three onto a 3DS card! And, although, I never played the originals, I would like to see a return of Shenmue (or at least a re-release of 1+2, e.g. Mother 1+2). Oh, and GOOD movie games. If they existed, you know that would be awesome. (I know their are some such as Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and such, but the lack there of is what I'm referring to)
