No, but I have a good portion of those games for Sega Genesis.

Is the Ecco(s) in the compilation the Sega CD version? Those games were a lot better on CD: extra levels and awesome music.

No, I don't think. Does anyone know if these compilations include Shining Force 2?

Heck yeah! It also has Shining Force 1 and Shining in the Darkness.

Whoa I might have to buy that in the future then if its on the ps3 or psp.

The collection this thread is about is available for both ps3 and xbox360, and it's available for cheap($20 or less for 49 games, plus interviews and other special features). There is another collection for the psp, but the majority of its games are available in the Ultimate Genesis Collection, which has more games in total, and the Shining Force games are not on it. Then again, there are a few in it that aren't, and it can be downloaded (I believe it's $10), plus it's portable. But, I think the Ultimate Genesis Collection is the better of the two. Edit: Turns out the psp collection is $15. Yeah, I'd go for the Ultimate Genesis Collection for $5 more, or even the exact same price, depending where you shop.

Awww well I really prefer playing strategy games and rpgs on a handheld but after seeing that Phantasy Star 4 and both Shining Forces are available together I'll just have to compromise. That's an incredible deal, jeez..I remember when PS4 alone was over 100$.
