Dragon Quest IX

If you hadn't played it, you really should. It's so much fun and I love trying to get accolades, completeing quests, crawling through grottoes, battling legacy bosses, alchemizing new pieces of armor, making you characters stronger to the point where they are godly.

It's a really fun game. Dragon Quest is underrated in the states and it is way more superior than Final Fantasy and it still is even when Final Fantasy has pretty much jumped the shark many conclude. Dragon Quest is coming out with an MMO for the Wii and Wii U though and that is the thing... I'm not sure if I want to buy it because well, I'm not big on those subscription fees.

I prefer a one-time fee for buying the game and maybe expansions and some DLC here and there, but not a lot and the DLC isn't just cutting up the game into pieces and just was DLC is supposed to be: extra fun stuff, including things like stuff to make your character look cool. TF2 is a good example, people initially hated the idea of hats claiming them to be unnecessary, but really? I like silly hats and accessories because even though they are just there to look cool, they are a fashion statement and give the player some individuality and a way to express themselves.

I have to agree with you on this, spent so many hours on this game . I also really enjoyed mario kart ds.

I love the DS very much and play it everyday. Call of Duty: Black Ops is what I play mostly and have climbed to the top of most of the leaderboard categories. My username on there is <-HusH-> and while my K/D ratio is only 1.63 I have almost 80,000 kills. Another game I love on the DS is the Ultimate Mortal Kombat port.

I don't feel like making a big long list, but I will say that the DS Mario Kart is my favorite out of the whole series.

Super Scribblenauts, Sonic Chronicles, the Ace Attorney series (I still need to play Ace Attorney Investigations, though), Elite Beat Agents. Drawn to Life and The World Ends With You.

DQIX is great. It's even more fun when you do manage to break the game. By the end of the game on my last file, EVERY character, including my Paladin, had the multihit skill or some equivalent. So when I got to the last boss, my characters each hit four times for about 150 damage, so that's 16 hits times 150, which pretty much means they killed the last boss in a matter of a few turns.

Add Henry Hatsworth to that list. I can't believe I left it off. Ooh, and Monster Tale.

Outside of the vacations I used to go on with my family, I've never been much for portable gaming. Nonetheless, I've certainly enjoyed a few games on my DS, those being the Legend of Starfy, Mario Kart DS, Starfox Command and Super Mario Bros. There are definitely a ton more good games on it, though, Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney being one I'm definitely going to play on an emulator at one point or another, but I just don't care.

Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, Ghost Trick, Devil Survivor, Radiant Historia, and the FF and Chrono Trigger ports. Theatrhythm is fun too, for the nostalgia.
