I hated the controls in the Wii version of Twilight Princess, but I liked them a lot in Skyward Sword...though I did get frustrated when I'd try to jab and it would make Link use his shield instead...

See, I was the other way around. Twilight Princess motion controls, while tacked on and unnecessary, actually worked and did not get in the way of actually playing the game. Skyward Sword on the other hand, didn't work at all and played like crap because it could never tell what you were doing and constantly wanted you to re calibrate its sensor. Fighting was a pain in the ass, because every time you tried to change swing directions because the enemy changed its blocking stance, it would take too long to register anything and the enemy would instantly block it anyways or it would accidentally swing even when you all you did was slightly adjust your grip on the wii remote.

Resident Evil 4 is a must have :)

I also suggest Soul Calibur II and Kirby Air Ride. I lost my copy though

Super Mario Sunshine
Paper Mario TTYD
Luigi's Mansion
Zelda WW
Starfox Adventures
Starfox Assault
F-Zero GX
Mario Golf Toadstool Tour
Metroid Prime 1 and 2
Mario Kart DD
Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2
Mega Man Anniversary Collection
Mega Man X Command Mission
Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2
Sonic Adventure 1 and 2
Tales of Symphonia

Pikmin 1 and 2 are very good, but there's an even better Wii-make version of them.

I highly recommend the criminally overlooked Star Fox Adventures. Many fans immediately disregarded it because it wasn't the same as the previous titles in the series.

It was actually my first Star Fox game(the only other one I've played being 64, years later on the Wii). I thought it felt like a ripoff of Rare games, and it turned out that it was actually originally meant to be one. :P But yeah, it's a pretty decent game. A bit too hard for me, enough to get me to give up maybe 2 and a half quarters of the way through, but still pretty enjoyable.

It was my first Star Fox game too. I actually wish that Rare had stuck with the original plan for this game, ie - having the game called "Dinosaur Planet" and featuring Krystal as the main playable character. The game probably would have been a lot more successful without the Star Fox label.
