Favorite Mario Party game

MP 3 for sure, my cousin introduced me to it and it's always been my fav.
Yeah, I cannot blame you for liking MP3 so much. I like it a lot. It makes me wish that it was for sale in the Wii Shop. But it is not, which surprises me since MP3 is a well-liked game for the N64.

Yeah it is surprising that Nintendo isn't capitalizing on that.

My guess is that they're too busy with marketing stuff related to the Nintendo Wii U to care about putting games like MP3 for sale in the Wii Shop.

That's probably true, plus they've made tons on zelda titles as well as other mario games already. They probably decided to put the Wii (first one) behind them and work instead of newer ideas.

The Wii-U has the original Wii on it too though with the same main-menu screen, etc. It's separate from the Wii-U main screen though.

They might decide to put MP3 in the Wii U Shop (if there will be one at all).

That'd be awesome

The newer Wii versions really, really suck, in my opinion. I prefer all three for the N64. They're simple and extremely fun.
I agree that the original Mario Parties for the N64 were better than the newer Mario Parties. At least we didn't have to worry about placing orbs on other spaces or other complex stuff in the newer Mario Parties that is not present in the original Mario Parties. But I will say that out of the newer Mario Party games (Mario Party 4 and beyond) , I will say that MP9 was the best one in terms of game play.
They should make Mario Party 10 (if they do ever make it) more like Mario Party 3 in terms of game play mode variety. By 'game play mode variety', I mean that Adventure Mode should be exactly like that in Mario Party 3 where you're going around collecting stamps to become the Super Star by playing in general boards and duel boards where the final boss of the Adventure Mode is not Bowser while keeping some of the game play elements from Mario Party 9. By 'game play elements from Mario Party 9' , I mean the following: (1) Improved Mini-Boss and Boss battles where if you get below 0 points, you're out. (2) Whoever gets the most points (out of those who haven't been knocked out) in those battles wins the most stars(the kind of stars from Super Mario Galaxy that are analogous to coins from Super Mario 64) (3) Make the mini-games and boss battles less luck-based and more skill-based. Now THAT will be one HECK of a Mario Party game

I'll give 9 a try, but the last time I played a Mario Party game for the Wii, I was really disappointed.
