You only fight humans in the beginning and honestly I never used the grabbing of the neck move and I made it though the game fine. I was more into stealth/cloaking. It has some dark content don't get me wrong just not as dark as some other games.

I played FPS 10 years ago and they were much less realistic.


The first half of the game is fighting against humans, which I have no problem with, and the deal with the aliens is that you're only supposed to know for sure about the aliens until halfway through, but then they become the main bad guys and they are super boring to fight and it's much harder to take the game seriously after it. Not only that, but you even fight Koreans in nanosuits (because the most powerful infantry weapon ever must be so easy to duplicate) before you start fighting aliens, which is ridiculous.

Not just video games are dark today; entertainment in general is. It is always post-apocalyptic this, zombies that, maybe a war, a serial killer...
