Why not? I thought that GoG was able to sell those games legally because they made deals with the original publishers/developers of those old games. Activision still gets money from people buying the old Sierra from GoG, don't they?
But I guess that if the company went out of business then they won't get any money for it unless someone else now owns the rights to it.
