:( There's only one store anywhere near which even sells MTG cards.... and for a long time they never even did that much.
It's not a gaming store though, and there is no chance of them ever running FNM.

All they do regarding MTG is stock one merchant's block of the latest 5-box intro set, until they run out or the next release comes out... but they charge more than getting the boxes online (even including P&P charges) by about £1.50 a box, so it's very offputting when considering whether to buy cards from them unless you really are wanting to get the intro sets in a hurry.

Considering how many people you see showing up to play DOTP games over XBL on Friday night though, I think that must be a common situation for people to be in - at least outside of America (where FNM seems to be a lot more common than in many other countries, from what I can tell).

I stopped playing back in Innistrad to play more chess, but might come back for the next non-Core set in September if I like the cards.

I loved Booster Draft and Sealed Deck. I tried to draft properly as much as possible and didn't play Constructed much, so I was passing money rares and mythics for 5-cent commons all over the place back then. My favorite playing moments were when I went undefeated at the Innistrad prerelease with a 5-color, 41-card sealed deck that had 20 mana sources; and winning a match at Regionals because Raging Goblin pwns Upheaval
