Animals can't talk. They must be autistic!
Plants can't talk. They must be autistic!
My computer doesn't talk. It must be autistic!
An ice cream cone doesn't talk. It must be autistic!

Seriously, many autistic people can talk, sometimes they can't stop talking. I should know.

How does anyone know what is real or not? I think that all the proof in the world can't prove what is real and what is not. It is all a matter of perception and how each person views the world differently. For all we know, the world that we live in could be fictional. 8) I often get tired of people saying 'THIS is how it is, and there can be no other way than how I see the world'. :wall:

Congratulations! You just discovered the main problem with scientists!

I really don't know why people grasp onto something fictional being "austistic".

Fictional characters arent real- yes they can have personality treats as part of their plot. However I still strongly feel if the creator hasnt said anything about it, its probably not true. Why make up nonsense, just to be happy or just to relate to it more? As an autistic, I enjoy many things- but I don't need them to be autistic to be better or not. Many non-autistics do autistic stuff at times- does that mean they are autistic? Not in every case. Also- many people with autism do normal things, does that mean they were diagnosed wrong? I don't think so. See my point I'm getting at?

I don't need to take everything in life seriously, but just because its fictional doesn't instantly mean "lets just randomly guess at things and make up stuff because why not" or whatever..

I'm not trying to sound rude, just trying to understand.

It's fun to speculate if the writers intended the character to be autistic
In my opinion the big guy with the mullet haircut from the walking dead is,and the people from the big bang theory have it in varying severity. Those depictions are exaggerated and not very accurate but the signs are recognizable.
Many believe sonic to be autistic in the cartoons,it's possible that Spock was inspired by an autistic but I don't really know.

That is not how you logic. A->B does not imply B->A. Real people having autism does not exclude fictional characters from having autism.

Actually it is a form of reasoning, subjective logic. The proofs don;t have to be consistent to be valid. The argument isn;t sound by any means but it does pose a contingency being that in this world, a fictional character that was never stated in any situation to have autism is highly likely to not have it at all. Also Kirby, being not even human, probably had a different mental framework than that of a real human being (not pulled out of my ass, animals are presented to have different mentalities, why would Kirby not have one as well being...whatever he is? lol). Kirby can have autism, but not in my world or Fnord's. Or this one. Only OP's world

I never think about animated characters having autism. Kirby is just a different specie so therefore he does not talk and he sucks (literally) and copies abilities.

>Kirby has autism
>autistic Kirby characters
>Paint Roller is autistic
>Autistic Mario Characters

These threads are getting kind of spammy. Do we really need four of them? It should have just been a single thread called "autistic video game characters."
