I liked Scrabble. It was my favorite board game, and I was quite good at it, but my mom was even better. I haven't played Scrabble anymore since she died.

I recently joined a competitive Scrabble club. It was started by a couple guys who play competitive Scrabble. I thought 250-300 points was a lot before- hmmm. Everyone is really nice though.
Just as an aside, I never thought I would find a place where people have conversations about the neologisms from Lewis Carroll's poem "Jabberwocky" as though that is a typical thing. It's like an infrequently-recurring dream I've had ("I had that dream again where I met people I fit in with!!").
I love Scrabble, but there is no clubs or tounaments where I live. I can play only with my family, when I was small my mom always beat me, now no one in my family can beat me

One of my all-time favourite games. My parents has a set where all the tiles and the stands were made from wood. I'd love to have a crack at a tournament just to see how I'd go ! !
