I prefer the classics, N64 was my first console that wasn't a hand-me-down. I will always cherish and love it, and all of the nostolgia and memories it has given me. Part of that nastolgia was trying to figure out where the next objective was while conserving ammo and health.

Got Perfect Dark and Goldeneye on my laptop with a usb n64 controller via Project 64 1.7

Best FPS's ever made, although perfect dark zero was a huge letdown. :!:

PJ64 is a good emulator. I currently have version 1.6. Haven't used it in awhile so I'll take 1.7 as a reminder to update. Thanks. With Perfect Dark Zero, it just didn't seem to have a very compelling storyline. The original Perfect Dark had everything that blended so well. Almost too well. The characters were awesome. Characters with different appearances, and very unique personalities such as Elvis. It even had ruthless and evil villains like Mr. Blonde. Plus, the levels were never boring, the environments looked cool, and the objectives were fun. That was merely the assessment of single player. Multiplayer was an entirely different awesome. The soundtrack was awesome too, even today. In addition, provided everything is configured correctly and everything else checks out, it also runs nicely on PJ64. Overall, I really think games like Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were important games. To me, they served to highlight the times back then. "Rare" certainly lived up to it's name as the developer.

I used to be totally obsessed with Perfect Dark. I thought it was a great game.
