Well I would think that their would be different levels, Dom had just been put in a prison capsuel, Tai had been getting moved, and Maria had gotten all the way to that destination. Also to defeat Raam in Gears 1, the best strategy is to wait till the Kril move of him, best through useing the bow, which scaters them, then use the sniper rifle to get head shots. I don't realy think it was some crazy lady, but I do wonder why Dom and Marcus did not try or at least find other survivers.

Yeah, Raam can be a right b***h. Best done with a friend. Damn I still remember Insane mode... grrr.

I think they play Hip-Hop in those pods. Continued Exposure to Hip-Hop can cause insanity, suicidal urges and extensive brain damage... nasty way ta go.

I don't think there was enough time to free the other prisoners. Esspecially considering they would probably be in the bad state Maria was in. Bascily Dom and his comrad would probably have to execute them all.

My story is maria was a lot more beat up then tai because when she got caught, she tried to fight her way out. The locust can see she will be the one to escape, so they give her the worst torture to make an example of her to other prisoners, and to keep her in.

You're thinking into this too much... percides, Maria was a small framed woman while Tai is clearly a steroid abuser. It goes without saying who would withstand locust torture better.

Maybe the locusts where interogating her and trying to suss out info on her husband Dom who was a soldier fighting agianst the loucsut army? Basicly Maria refused to give out info on her husband and his fellow commrades so they tortured her worst? Just a thought!

Well, from what I saw of Tai when he walked out of the pod he had hooks in his backs, or did he have those there already?
