The whole world, actually.
You can talk to Arngier and Paarthanax afterward, or maybe Esbern and Delphine. I think most people in Skyrim were unaware of what was going on with the dragons, or that Alduin's role is to end the world/kalpa.

Oh, that kid is annoying. I never wanted to hurt him, but I do wish I could make him shut the hell up.
Admittedly, I joined the Stormcloaks, so maybe I can.

I've killed her on accident before. She needs to stop getting in the way of my spells. >.<
LOL same. I've lost count of the times I've reloaded due to her accidental demise.
Well, the ritual stone brought back my dead dog permanently... wonder if it would work on other henchies...

I've no idea about the specifics, but it's one of the reasons I rarely use mods (except for the occasional one to fix glaringly broken stuff.) They're not subject to the same *cough* rigorous testing the base game gets and by their nature they're added piecemeal by disparate authors; they don't always go well together and as you add more mods the chance of a conflict between them goes up.
The other main reason being that I don't trust them - well, their authors - to be balanced, although with games like TES that's kinda moot.
*gulp* Pet Sematary?

once a day Raise zombie with no caps on it, and I believe they last until they actually die. With it i have had like maybe a whole horde of 12 at once so far... maybe I should try to collect a bunch of corpses and try it...

I don't trust having allies that are likely to get in the way, or get killed, specially since I prefer to be stealthy and allies usually wreck my style, so it mostly atronachs and, raised dead, and fury for me.

i couldn't remember where delphine was, and my main game is screwed to hell and back, i had a follower only i lost him and he is now lost in the rift as far as i know, bad thing is i didn't fire him and he didn't get fired automaticly so now i have an invisible follower or something because the game still thinks i have a follower, also i cured my werewolf disease but the npcs are still commenting like she still has it. i have checked twice now to see if she still has beast blood, she doesn't. esbern is glitchy as hell on this game i can't read his dialogue it goes to fast. but yeah i forgot it was the whole world would have helped if there was news of the other countries getting attacked by dragons.
after a few days though more people started becoming aware of the event, i guess news travels like in real life with no internet.
that kid is a pain especially if whiterun is your base of operations and you go to dragonsreach to enchant all the time. i had to listen to that brat every time i walked through the door on the ps3, in pc i have an enchanting table mod for my whiterun house. i'd love to chase him around with my flaming ebony sword at the very least.
i like the stormcloaks better because to me they seem nicer to you then the imperials even though i didn't get far on their story line, ps3 started acting up at that point.

fair enough lore means nothing to me when it comes to mods, as long as the mod isn't drasticly different from the game, like i won't put an anime mod in fallout 3 because it just wouldn't fit the overall look of the game, and i wouldn't put gun in the elder scrolls. also i'm all for persevering the wasteland as it is i don't get any restoring mods. i like to keep themes intaked, if the theme is medival fantasy then i get things that would fit that theme, same with fallout 3's post apocalyptic theme.
most mods i get are to put something in that i felt should have been there, like ironsights for fallout 3, my mods don't make the game any easier not to me at least, just less of a headache on some things.
to Bradleigh
you would hate my harkness mod i use for fallout 3, i take a more berserker type of battle style so the only problem i have is killing them myself.

This game is a mess, and desperately needs so much patching. Kind of frustrating that most of that patching is likely to be unofficial fan patches, as usual.
yeah it sucks that the players are stuck with fixing the game the bought, but at least there is some people out there willing to do so. i don't care if the patch is officall or not though if it solves the issue i am having that is all that matters.
and yesterday i had a nice little event happen i was in riverwood in the inn just being lazy and figuring out what to get done that day. and the bard sven starts singing this little tribute to the dragonborn defeating alduin. that was sweet.
i guess word is getting around.
also i fixed the werewolf problem, but farkas is stuck in the past on the mountain, good thing i found console commands to make my character a normal human, and to get farkas out of my party. the bad thing is i lost that set of dragon armor i gave him.
i also found an awesome mod that lets me grind levels almost infinitely, because i like to level up.
as far as patching the only things i can see that need fixing are glitches that crash the game, or prevent me from progressing the story line. i don't mind dancing dragons, mammoths appearing in the air. if a glitch isn't harmful to me as the player then i don't really care if it's fixed or not. like getting hurt by scenery only happens if you deliberately run into it. crashing to the desktop is the last thing i want to see happen when i play any game.
but even through the problems i can see just how awesome this game is when you can dump 100+ hours into it and still have more to do that is impressive to me, most of the time it hardly feels like a game stuff happens seemingly at random, i think that's cool when you walk around the map you never know what you will encounter and that makes roaming around interesting. fallout 3 was a bit more controlled and more predictable this one feels like you walking around an actual world.
i want to work on my next character but i'm still finding things to do on my first. it seems like you can play on one character for months.
by the way anyone know a good place to find deadra, besides mehruns dagon's shrine, i need to make another set of deadric armor because i want different enchants.

I love the game. The main improvement over Oblivion is that it no longer has a deeply flawed levelling system that can eventually punish you for playing in a way that doesn't min/max stats, rather than just the way you like to play.
I've played for over 60 hours and the only bug I've encountered so far has been one that caused all Markarth guards to attack me on sight for no reason. My only crime was trespassing into an area I didn't realise was private property (an inner part of the museum) and unfortunately the guards just attacked, not offering to let me yield, pay bail or go to jail. My only option there was to reload an old save.

Oh, that's cool, I didn't realise it was a permanent effect and doesn't replace the existing summons. Got to give it a go now!

i love the freedom this game has as well, you can go from a archer to a thief, to a warrior, and to a mage all on the same character, there are countless times in other game like WoW where i would be running around as a warrior and watch some mage kill an enemy with fire and ice and i kept thinking [that class looks cool i wish i could use those abilities] in this game all i have to do is change my armor, weapons, and faved abilities and i can play as a mage. i find it hard to stick with one class because i get bored. in this game i can always mix it up anytime i want.

To the first paragraph: Much agreed. I love this game, even with its flaws.
To the second: that happened to my nephew too, but he never figured out what had happened.

yep and once you can learn to overlook it's flaws or just accept them and maybe even get a laugh out of some random glitches. then you know that the game really is good and fun.
it's a bit like me in a way, heavy on artistic detail, has alot of emphasis on freedom, and is not perfect.
now the issues on the ps3 is another story, sticken save file issues. problems like that need to be fixed.
i haven't been randomly attack by guards yet. but they get on my back about shouting in the streets, which i swear i'm not doing that on purpose.

I learned on Daggerfall. And then again on Morrowind. Daggerfall took up about half of my hard drive in those days. I mean the hard drive I put it on. It's such a tiny speck on hard drive space now. With Morrowind I had a combination of difficulties from both game bugs and from the fact that my computer didn't meet the minimum requirements. Despite all that, despite the crashes, corrupted saves, and learning curve at the start (Addamasartus
), I got through it and both expansions. I plan to play it again after I'm done with Skyrim.
I whirlwind sprint in the streets all the time, and I don't care if they tell me to stop. I am a free spirit.
