I used to think that the Blades were the only group that were not total idiots, then I took an arrow to the knee. By that I mean their issue with Paarthurnax, I really like the game and all, but as time went on General Tallius even looked level headed. At least the dragons are not just pure force for destruction, they might have another side which would be awesome to be explored more.

Hey did anyone meet the Champion of Cyrodil (hero of Kvatch, etc), turns out in canon he was a Breton, he is on vacation visiting an emperor.

Yes, this bit has a lot of people blowing off the Blades. I haven't really seen many people make much of an argument in favor of killing Paarthurnax, and the few I have seen made so little sense and were so packed with ridiculous emotions and appeals to Nazis or something I couldn't take them seriously.

Could you point out who/where this information is?

If you talk to Sheogorath, he says some things.

Might be a story thread dealt with if and when they release an Expansion. Id love to see Shivering Isles ported over to the skyrim engine though considering its quite possibly my favorite game expansion of all time. Other expansions id love to see though would either be going to the Akiviri homelands OR going to Vaermina's Realm (the description of it sounded interesting, would make it even more chaotic than the shivering isles, but with its own sense of humor and horror to it.)

Someone mentions butterflies refering to shivering isles, a severed head which referes the Dark Brotherhood, and a fox refering to the Thieves guild. And lastly the cheese could refer to hearing Sheogorath's famous line, or Sheogorath's normal quest in the game which had you heating up a very powerul smelling cheese.

Yes. He also mentions knowing Martin Septim. He says a lot of things that hint that he is the Champion of Cyrodiil. Which is why I want information on this other Champion, especially since Bethesda has never had a canonical Eternal Champion, Emperor's Agent, Nerevarine, etc. before and do everything they can to avoid creating an "official" canonical version of any game's main character.

sounds like fun i should try that.

i just don't like it when they interrupt what i'm doing, if they just yelled at me without going into a conversation i'd shout whenever i wanted.

where is sheograths shrine? i haven't run across that one yet, heck the map is so big i tend to get confused when just fast traveling.

Sheogorath does not have a shrine, but you should find a less than sane person running around Solitude between a graveyard and the bard college, his name is Dervenin. Follow the mission and you will get to him.

never ran across the person, probably because i hardly go to solitude, ok i'll try that. man though the quests you can get seem endless.

I bet it would be possible to mod them so they just say their "stop shouting" line instead of trapping you in dialogue.

yeah most likely someone will make the mod someday, the modding community is like that. i browse the nexus often so i'm keeping my eye out. but right now there is no creation kit for skyrim, but once there is i can only imagine what will be made. new mounts, more enemies, maybe even a dancing or poser mod like fallout 3 has.

i'm always quite impressed by alot of the mods people make because alot of them are made by the gamer themselves, i would take a crack at it if i knew anything about coding.

TES modding requires very little coding. The scripting you can do is fairly simple, as compared to actual coding.

It does take a lot of work, though. I started a mod for Morrowind and never got past the first 5% of the thing because I am so terrible at planning and execution.

Something like the guard mod would probably be fairly simple and require no scripting at all. Just put the "Stop shouting" dialogue into their reactions to shouting (if they're that easy to spot) and remove it from the active dialogues.

i've messed around in the geck a bit but it's above and beyond what i can understand, and scripting\coding whatever it is, is to hard for me to get. i think i'll just not shout through the streets and leave it to the nexus to mod the game.

the amount of computer schooling i got at school was stuff i already knew which was pretty much running the machine, i was never taught any coding scripting etc... sucks to be me...

anyway i got a new graphics card and now i can see the details in the game, again like on my ps3 and on a bigger screen. i don't run fullscreen firewall screws up fullscreen games.

i think my old one was dying also colors kept getting dim.

but i gotta figure out how to get anti aliasing and anthroscopic filtering to run without bogging the game down, the models are rough around the edges and i got black lines on the walls.

I think you can set up "force FXAA" or something in the launcher options menu (since I refuse to update past 1.1 until I hear there's a patch that isn't stupid, I'm not going to check to be sure because it will reactivate automatic updates on Steam) that helps.

Also, there's stuff on Skyrim Nexus that can also help. This article mentions a few:

The Post-Process Injector has been good for me.

yeah i refuse to update as well, what does fxaa do anyway i have it off, i've got anti aliasing running from the graphics card itself, as well as anthroscopic filtering, seems to be doing good so far, also i got some help from the nexus to get my companion back, turns out he got disabled somehow.

Excellent.

FXAA is FX (no idea) anti-aliasing.

FXAA = Fast-Approximate Anti Aliasing

Its best summed up as an inbetween form of Anti-aliasing. No where near the accuracy as regulara AA, BUT its much easier on the systems in question.

EDIT) This video explains it very well.
