far cry primal.
i am not sure if i like it yet. i have just started.
it seems that i am ambushed too often by animals and the grass in many places is too high.
i feel about 4 foot eight in height in comparison to the world in which i walk (maybe quite accurate for the time).

i tamed a scruffy looking wolf and he always goes to my defense whenever i am in danger, and when i walk through areas with bears in them, it is likely that my wolf will get killed trying to defend me.
that has happened once and my wolf was permanently dead. i could have gone and tamed another identical wolf, but i was "attached" to my friend so i restarted the game and i am looking for ways now to dismiss my wolf so i can walk through dangerous areas where it will be in danger.
if i must avoid the areas with bears because my wolf will be killed, then i will find it irritating and it will erode my interest in proceeding.

the owl is the camera substitute and is quite inferior to the camera in far cry 3 and far cry 4.

More Viscera Cleanup Detail.

I swear, you go into a game like this not expecting it to be "hard", because you associate "hard" with action games and such almost automatically, and then the game surprises you, that's for sure...

After nearly 10 freaking hours, finally finished the Revolutionary Robotics level. Just.... argh. I'll see boxes and bullet casings in my nightmares. But having scored 107% and gotten the notes and unique item from the level, I dont have to go back there. And THAT is a good thing.

I dont care if it's essentially a janitor similator (in spaaaaaace), that level ranks as one of the nastiest I've seen in quite awhile in a game. Whoever thought up the bit with replacing the sentry guns was pure evil.

I'm playing my new Harvest Moon game, and I'm trying to figure out whether to buy Persona 3 PSP or not.

I am playing Spec Ops The Line on native Arch Linux,

Good solid game its just too solid and too genetic to be interesting to be honest. But I am already on chapter 8 / 13 so I figured I'll play it through anyway.

Yes, since playing marvelheroes2016 I've found it to be quite an entertaining game yet, there are couple of complaints in terms of glitches and so forth but overall the game overall gets better and better. Case in point, they're adding a new hero each month to the entire hero roster currently at 57 as well revamping well established heroes like Emma Frost & Daredevil. Lastly, marvelheroes2016 does add new content which is always a good thing.

I found the gameplay also very bland but the game overall gets a lot better, and that turnaround happens at around chapter 8 so definitely keep going.

skullmonkeys, still.

elevated structure of terror and ynt death garden are absolutely devouring my lives.

great game, but still irritated at the lack of a BLOODY SAVE FEATURE.

Does it at least have passwords?

yep, it does. you get one at the end of every world you complete.

preserves your lives and collected powerups but not your score, but the latter doesn't really matter.

Dark Souls III... I don't really know what I think of it. It hasn't caught much of my interest after giving it about ten hours, but I've also been feeling unusually weak for the last few days. Nearly fell twice this morning while out, so it wouldn't surprise me if my health is impacting my ability to experience amusement with the game.

I'm currently playing a character that two hands a claymore, and can switch to a long bow. Though, ideally, It's just the beginning of a light-footed build that can power stance two great swords(those ultra great swords that look like giant slabs of steel with handles). In DS2, I had a pair that was maxed out for every damage element... I assume I'll not be able to do that in this one if you cannot buy that sword though. Not to mention, imbuing weapons with an element appears to nullify any previous damage improvement they've been given through upgrades using titanite in DS3, so I'd probably not bother having more than a single non-enchanted pair anyway. Usually, from having the str/dex stat requirements to do the power stance for said weapons, I should also have use of a great bow by then too.

One thing I have noticed is that there don't seem to be nearly as many bosses. That's not so good. I've only seen four, while in any other souls game, I'd already have seen nearly a dozen.

It's NUTS that you're the first other person I've seen talking about DS3!

I was really unsure about the game at first; the first boss has impossible tells in his second phase, and the first area after Firelink Shrine isn't great. You're right, bosses are fewer than I expected, although they are generally more original than the humanoid bosses in the previous game. They're also very easy until a specific point in the game where they become brutally difficult.

The areas are great, and they do become more difficult at roughly the point that the bosses do. I'm not finished yet so I don't know if this is consistent later on.

I spent most of the game with a fire halberd, since it allowed me to pump vigor and such without worry. Now I've switched to the Exile Greatsword, which is a curved greatsword with 24/16 requirements. It's worth noting that defense values are applied to each damage type individually, so having two damage types causes less damage than you would expect from the figures.

One thing I don't like is that the environment isn't built in the same way as DS1 was. It's more like a linear series of areas, although there is much more attention to detail than 2. In a lot of ways, this feels like 2 but designed by Miyazaki, as it should have been.

I've been decluttering my video games, so I've got a lot in a bag to [hopefully] give away. I'm still thinking about deleting Castlevania Symphony of the Night on my PSP, though.

Skyrim, Left 4 Dead and pokémon crystal. I'm stuck with my xbox360 since my gamecube broke but they are some of the games I've always played over and over anyway haha. Pokémon I just play it online for hours, it is soothing getting lost in the pixel wild grass.
