Man those graphics look nice, and I have been very happy with HeartGold, but now I am really looking forward to this.

Also, my editing of my last post was pretty badly screwed up.

Don't worry, this isn't set to come out for months; there's no way that's the final look.

Good, good.

Ah, Dragon's Den. Man, I used to spend lots of time there, just hanging out. It's a really nice cave. I'm going to raise the special Dratini and bring it to the first battle against Lance. I won't perfect it or anything, just make it strong enough to beat at least one of his Dragonites.

Ah, Edit:

Thanks for posting the new comic of Super Effective. I was only recently thinking about the pokemon centre thing, mostly about how either they have made the perfect government society with many free services, or how they must have very high taxes.

Or there's an underground drug ring that pays for it :P

I assume that they are simply so abundant in resources, they easily reached a Star Trek Earth-like level of utopia.
Team Rocket steal because they are greedy, not because they are hungry.

Unless Soylent Green is made of people, I don't think anyone in that society is too poor to live.
Consider that most people are apparently free to move about on their own and do whatever they feel like.
And that trees can bear fruit in a single day or less! It's an obviously fertile land.

Ah, now I have a number of ExtremeSpeed Dratini, in case I want more of them for some reason.
I like Ho-oh's sprite in this game. The talons look cool. Took some time to catch. My Feraligatr happened to be exactly the same level as Ho-oh.

Also, Tangela! :D I haven't tried to raise a Tangela since Blue.

Apparently Farfetch'd taste quite nice, but I don't know if they have kept that fact being why they are rare, Gold/Silver had the story of selling Slowpoke tails as food and Ash was afraid of his Krabby being eaten. There is also references to pokemon eating other pokemon, I think such as Ekans eating Pidgey and Ratata and Aerodactle suposed to have fed on a range of pokemon. But I have wondered where a lot of their meat comes from, either their is a pokemon slaughter house somewhere, or the real source of meat is not ever shown.

Maybe there are very few roads, so there are not many cars, the anime rarely has them on roads anyway, bigger question is what type of ten year old goes off in a sports car and a group of cheer leaders. And what if some pedophile kidnapped any one of the many lone travelling children with the promise of showing them their "pokeballs".

That's true :) I just wish I had bought more ultra balls before though :P I only have 16.
If I play at night though, I'll be able to use my 10 dusk balls too.

I LOVE Psychics, I played with Ghost in Pearl and played with Ice in HG (Jynx is awesome though because she's Psychic and Ghost, muhahaha) I'm starting to REALLY like Dragon too, powerful and few weaknesses - few strengths either, but useful for tough opponents that also have few weaknesses. I like Electrics a lot too, I was a HUGE fan of water before but now I'm kind of tired of them because I've used them so much. Fire is okay...I just can't warm up to them. I don't like Grass much though some third evo starters are good - some are lame though. I still don't understand bugs, dark is okay but I haven't used it much, poison is lame but I do love my Crobat on Pearl, Steel and Rock I never use, only use Ground if it has another type with it, um, can't think of any other types at the moment :P

How do you make them NOT run away from you? I can't catch the other legendaries :P
