I was never a fan of that card game, or a fan of card games in general, though one of my aspie friends are very fond of it.

It will not go up. Sell now, and fast, before people realize it's not that good.

Haha, doesn't look like it's going to go down anytime soon :)

go blue or go home.

oh wait. . .i can't play counterspell in ext anymore?

>.<

lol i love mtg. mtgo was a huge obsession of mine (ahhh how i miss my 12 hour sessions lol). . .till i got a mac.

i always loved blue. played a tinker deck a long time ago that took me so many months to figure out and actually start winning with, but once i had it down, it was just an amazing well oiled machine.

in fact i always play blue when i can.
played a squirrel prison (opposition) deck back when odyssey came out, which was another amazingly fun deck.

and in mtgo i was always playing around with different decks. all of them (except for 1 i can remember) ran blue in them lol.

i had a deck at my peak of mtgo that didn't seem like it could work consistently. . .it relied on hitting 7-10 mana by turn 5 or 6. it was a pure artifact deck besides the sorcieries/instants.
pretty much my game plan was to hit 10 mana to play a soulscour (7www: destroy all non artifact permanents) by turn 5 or 6. . .leaving my board untouched, and my opponent's completely wiped.
i'd then run memnarch to steal any land they'd play after that haha. i received so much hate for the deck.
and i ran platinum angel+lightning greaves to stall the game when i was in a pinch.

it took me a good 3 months to work out the final deck list just right, and it sounds like such a ridiculous deck lol. . .but it was actually extremely deadly in the casual room. . .or multiplayer (lol made so many people mad when i'd join a 2 headed giant game, play soulscour. . .clearing not only my opponent's boards, but my partner's too lmao, good times).
my highest record was 33-0 one day in the casual room.
it's just one of those decks no one is prepared for, no one's seen or played against, and no one ever sees soulscour coming. they wonder why i'm playing so many mana accelerators, while playing nothing else but some draw for the first few turns, while they're quickly creating a strong board position and i'm doing nothing about it.)
. . .and as soon as i get back into mtgo, i have to try the new all is dust (7: Each player sacrifices all colored permanents he or she controls.) they added in rise of the eldrazi. . .would be a great addition to fit into the deck.

ah good times,
and i've rambled on for way to long xP. sorry lol, just been a long time since i've played a game of magic. . .i miss it.

I never really cared for blue counter spells . . . liked it for draw cards, flying, etc. For me, it was one of those colors that, even though it is my "favorite color," i couldnt really use it's spells worth a damn. That and white (white is too defensive for my tastes). Green, Red, and Black have been more up my alley (A B/R Dragon Reanimator was my first claim to fame during an FNM) . . . course i created it by taking a R/G Dragon Deck and mixing it with a Bla/W Reanimator. Bladewing, the Risen was the main star, along with Buried Alive, then the subsequent Exhume, or Reanimate. Turn 3: 16+ damage     . Oddly, my first opponent was an Asian dude with a Green Elephant deck. I may not be good with facial expressions, but a dropping jaw is fairly easy to recognize and understand.

Play sequence:

Turn 1: Swamp, Putrid Imp
Turn 2: Swamp, Cabal Ritual (Dark Ritual when it was legalized), Buried Alive > Bladewing, the Risen; Kilnmouth Dragon (or Dragon Tyrant, depending on scenario), and Anger to the graveyard.
Turn 3: Mountain, Exhume (or Reanimate) > Bladewing comes into play, followed by Kilnmouth/Tyrant (due to BW's ability), then attack with BW and K/T (while Anger is in the gy, and a mountain is in play, all creatures i control have haste).

Look up Kilnmouth Dragon or Dragon Tyrant if you wish to understand my deviltry   .
