On a few Genesis related notes; I don't think you'll find them on Youtube but the interlude melodies on both Altered Beast and Strider were quite grim.

Scariest of all WoW soundtracks imo! I did all the raids in WoTLK but none has had the impact as this one had.

As for the Strider song, I couldn't find it, but this guy has a playlist full of Strider songs:

"After Battle with Zant" from LOZ: Tp
Even though all themes associated with Zant are incredibly unsettling, and most people give the theme "Zant at lakebed" the title of Disturbing, this one takes the cake by a long shot. It's distorted and it's pitch is edited to sound like the music box that played his themes before is dying down, which in context makes perfect sense because it plays after you kill Zant. And while the scene in and of itself isn't scary in the least bit, (thank Midna's hair powers) the song can still be the top of the TP-creepy ladder.
And speaking of broken music boxes
"N's toy room" from Pkmn BW2. N's old life as the extremist cultist is dead, and his room is dimly lit and in shambles to represent it. The music representative of his effed up childhood is equally in dissaray, and it is quite unsettling in the same vein as the previous song, what with it's randomly speeding and slowing pitch and tone.
"Stranger's house" is the perfect example of everything that makes the whole "Nothing is scarier" trope scary in the first place. Very mysterious and silent, with sounds sometimes being the only thing you can hear. Primes you well to jump a mile when a Wild Litwick appears. and "Frozen Unova" has a similar atmosphere, only with a twinge of depression and pounding drums similar to the world-of-nothing in super paper mario. Very good on the musicians part
BW-Kyurem's theme is very intense, with its bleeding scare-chords, incredible drums bells and backing cellos. Not disturbing, but certainly letting you know you're in for one heck of a fight.

You think that's scary? How about the Shadow Temple theme from the Ocarina of Time?

That dungeon was creepy enough, but the music caused shivers down my spine. ReDeads still creep me out to this day...

And since we're talking about the theme:

And oh god the Lavender Town theme. As a kid I had to play that part during the daytime.
