Invisibility when blocking...kinda like Mewtwo's air dodges.

I am starting to find you can't really comapre Super Smash bros and Allstars now, they are too different in control style and have far more emphasized differences between characters.

I imagine my favorite will Kratos, I love strong offense.

I played the beta and I find the shielding next to useless and Radex fairly overpowered. I really loved how Kratos played though, melee with range.

They need to fix the supers. Some are really easy to get off and others take a really specific timing. The level 3 supers I haven't gotten to try yet because I'm kinda bad at it but Radec's seems super overpowered since it can get more KOs than the other 5.

That video had a lot of annoying pictures...but Gex looks like he'd be interesting.

Anybody have any thoughts on Toro?

I love this game! It has been a lot of fun learning how to function with the different characters, the stages stink of visual marvel, and contrary to popular opinion I think that use of still imagery with narration worked well for the arcade cutscenes. Consistent missing with the supers can be a bit discouraging though.

Ah, the supers...simultaneously the coolest and least balanced part of the game.

Lately I've been finding myself using Sly, Kratos and Raiden a lot. Strange mix, but it works.

Only character I don't enjoy playing much so far is Drake and sometimes Sackboy....Sackboy is hard to learn.

Anyone want to share their favorites/least favoriteS?

What constitutes a character being hard to learn for you? If it's a move you don't understand I could shed some light on the matter, 'cos I've been playing Sackboy a bit lately and I think he's mint! I was taken aback by the Grabinator though but thankful that that move doesn't act as a throw manoeuvre and has AP yield in itself.

Characters that specialzie mainly...like Sly and Sackboy. Sly is very based on teleportation and Sackboy needs to keep people at range. I always figure these characters out over time, however...

Alright, I understand what that means now. I'm a mess with Sly; as an avid player of Super Smash Bros. I have an affinity for abusing defensive manoeuvres so I always forget about Sly's cloaking and end up mashing it trying to roll dodge out of the line of fire... which never ends well, needless to say.

Sly is a completely different beat to play as...needs a good working knowledge of his moves. Once you figure him out though, he is awesome.

I like playing as Nariko, but I find the one move where she crouches and big spikes come out of ground is too slow to be very useful. Despite this, I still end up trying to use it all the time, though I find it only works if you plan on using it just before another character is within your range.

LucindaClown, use it in mid air before you land. It's awesome.

I've decided I'm going to go through all the characters' storylines both on Legendary and AllStar difficulties. I played through Nariko's and Kretos' storylines so far. I find Kretos to be far easier to use than Nariko, even though his weapons look similar, but the chains are far more effective since they pull you in close to enemies so aiming isn't much of a problem. I also really enjoy his level 3 power-up where he becomes a giant and you go around smiting everyone else around you.
On the other hand, Nariko's alternate costume is way cooler looking than Kretos' alternate costume.

Agreed, especially on Kratos's level 3.

My husband and I recently discovered that changing the colours on Kratos' secondary costume to red and gold makes it waaay better looking. We discovered this while playing it with our friends yesterday.

I got the PS All-Stars platinum trophy a couple weeks ago. It's a fairly easy one actually.
