The Earthbound series (or Mother as it's known in Japan)
I've never even heard of them before until recently, but those who've played them say they're great.

Yeah, the Earthbound trilogy is definitely awesome. Fortunately, I would probably say that the US got the best one in the series. Mother 3 was good, but there is something about Earthbound that I seem to like better... Don't know what though...

Bayonetta: Downloaded the demo, it kicked ass. Can't believed Sega of all people made this game. It was like God of War except with a main character I could stomach. Money is kinda tight right now, so I'm gonna have to find a job so I could purchase this bad girl at a reduced price.

Red Faction Guerilla: This game does sand box gaming better than GTA4. Like with Bayonetta, money is tight so I can't buy it right now.

Devil May Cry series: Always wanted to try this series out, but I was intimidated by the difficulty, as I'm not into playing games strictly for challenge.

Demon's Soul: It's been along time since I could find a Japanese RPG I could get into, and this looked like it. Unfortunately for Demon's Soul, Bioshock two was also released in that same year, and I only could afford one, and my choice was obvious.

Valkyrie Profile series: Did I say that Demon's Soul was the only RPG that could restore my love of JRPGs? Well I lied. I have always been interested in Valkyrie Profile series because it sounds so unique and different. It's based off of Norse Mythology, which is a unique concept for an videogame, let alone a JRPG. The combat system was new and original, and seemed fun. However the problem with Valkyrie Profile is its one of those games that are great, but I tend to forget about them regardless of that, just slips my mind. I just struggled to remember it right now.

Those are all I could think of right now.

Classic Mortal Kombat. I love the modern ones though, especially Armegeddon.
