I'm raising a Togekiss with Air Slash, Aura Sphere and Water Pulse. I'm not sure what else to add. :? Shadow Ball would be supereffective against two more types, and maybe more importantly give me a chance to lower tough sp. defences. Shock Wave is useful because Flying and Water are extremely common types, but it's a bit weak, and doesn't take advantage of the Serene Grace.
Roost should be a great move for buying a few extra rounds, offering protection against the conventional weaknesses of Togekiss and restoring a bit of its mediocre but respectable HP.

If you're going for four attacks, go with Air Slash (for STAB and flinch), Tri Attack (STAB and its secondary effect works well with Serene Grace), and then Aura Sphere and Shadow Ball for coverage. If you're going to do three attacks + Roost, drop Tri Attack. If you want to breed your Togekiss, you can add on Nasty Plot (egg move), and run that, Air Slash, Aura Sphere, and Roost. Unless I'm mistaken, Fighting+Flying hits everthing neutrally except for Rotom and Zapdos, so you get excellent coverage with those two moves. You could go with Shadow Ball over Air Slash to obtain perfect coverage, but the extra power from STAB and the flinch chance are really too good to pass up. You can get rid of Rotom and Zapdos easily with Tyranitar, although that limits your item options to Leftovers. Otherwise Togekiss will be losing too much health too fast (Life Orb + Sandstorm damage).

Yeah, that Air Slash is what made me interested in the first place. :) I'm definitely going for Speed EVs. Can't get Tri Attack, though, due to lacking XD. :( I have a few random Togepi and Togetic in my boxes, so it's not as if it would be too annoying to test a few things side by side, I suppose.
I should try out Nasty Plot; thanks for the tip.
And I checked the dual-type charts; seems like Rotom and Zapdos are indeed the only resistant typings. I would consider Ancient Power, but the Base Power sucks, and it only rises above Air Slash and Aura Sphere when their type strengths don't overlap. Meh.

I was wondering which ones will get a new evolution or baby form.

I was thinking maybe Banette could get an evolution like Dusklops did maybe the traded item could be one of those old fashion marionette controllers

Ah, that's right! Tri Attack is just so perfect for Togekiss that I just assumed it was a level-up move (or at the very least learnable via Heart Scale like Aura Sphere). Oh well, in that case I would go with Roost/Air Slash/Aura Sphere/Shadow Ball or the Nasty Plot set. Maybe Body Slam somewhere for paraflinch if you have Emerald.

I would like to see the babies/evos kept to a minimum. I loved all the original Pokemon they introduced in Gen III; only Azurill and Wynaut were related to a Pokemon from another generation.

No Emerald either, but Secret Power does the job, though with 10 less power. Although, after running around Kanto testing some stuff, I think I will keep Ancient Power on at least one Togekiss. The stat boost activated more often than I imagined from 20 %, and lots of Flying types showed up. :P
I'm curious about what early three stagers there will be. Starly was great. Shinx wasn't bad. Budew was pretty useful, too.

I have a rule that I have to cover every type when I'm playing Pokemon. I don't play anything past Crystal so this is fairly easy. My attacks are usually hard-hitting specials, with elemental attributes that have lasting effects (such as paralysis, burn or confusion)
My end-of-game teams are currently as follows:

RED
Raichu,Blastoise,Mew,Arcanine,Nidoking,Rhydon

CRYSTAL
Raichu,Typhlosion,Steelix,Houndoom,Kingdra,Scizor

...I always have to have Raichu. It's just not the same without one...

Yeah, I don't feel quite right without some lasting effects. I usually have a mixed special attacker with me.
I'm constantly looking for a traditional "bolt-beamer", but often end up without one.
Somehow, I don't think I've ever had a general purpose team without Fly on a bird or dragon. I usually try to time it with opponents using two-turn attacks.

My goodness this Voltorb flip game in Heart gold is quite tedious. I'm trying to save up 10,000 coins for Porygon and have only managed to get 6000 so far.

I wish they didn't remove the slot machines because some parents thought it would cause their children to gamble

I wish the didn't remove the slot machines AND double the cost of everything at the casino shop. 10,000 coins for a TM?

Also I played pokemon red and blue on Gameboy when I was 9, it had slots and I never gambled a day in my life.

Tell that to the uptight parents who complained to Nintendo about it.

Sometimes I wonder if the people who complain are even actual customers. Anyone remember the big stink some people made about Jynx being racist?
Jynx is based on the Ganguro girls, not black people, though I can understand why folks in the states immediately assume its about a certain thing, and then complain without even looking into it.

Sometimes when people sue other people over stuff like this I want them to honestly answer this question "Would you be doing this if you didn't believe you would get money?"

Yeah, Voltorb Flip is boring me senseless.

I want to do well on it and get a Porygon, just so I can feel like I've done it the "proper" way...but the proper way is so dull, I'm considering just transferring one over from LeafGreen. :?

I actually liked the Voltorb game, though at first I didn't really understand, but after a while it felt intelectualy stimulating, except when yiu have to purely go by luck for what to choose. And it does take a while to get anything as you cant just buy points, actually how is it even a good business plan if thre is no charge, what it is payment enough for him to watch ten year olds play games.
