You won't find it on Youtube (at least not without being buried under Wazzaaahzz from preteen boys) but the Farm on Resident Evil 4 was a neat stretch of tones. Something I'd picture being thrown over some real deep/dirty detroit techno if someone got a hold of it.

Can't blame you for doing so. That theme is eerie. For me, personally, it didn't scare me the first time I heard it as a child/young teen. But then again, I'm hard to scare.

I don't know of any music that scares me.

Well, ok, the Blood music was scary in a cool way but nothing that makes me s**t myself.

When I first beat Earthbound and experienced Gygas (He's more like an experience than a creature to me, and a nightmarish one at that) for the first time it didn't really scare me, but after listening to the theme and it being so popular on YouTube I can understand the spine-chilling tone of this otherwise lighthearted, comical game. The "fetus theory" doesn't help either, although I don't think it's actually true and did not notice it at all in the game until it was shown up close in a YT video. My heart was beating really fast when I got close to destroying Gygas but that's happened a lot when I'm fighting a boss and close to winning a game. The music in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door when the Shadow Queen starts destroying the world and the battle music afterwards is pretty intense, especially for a Mario game. So is Super Paper Mario where you're on that hellish-looking lake of souls or something I don't really remember what it's called, and you keep hearing eerie whispering voices and can't really make out what they're saying. Most of the music in Luigi's Mansion is scary-sounding but not too scary, except at the beginning when the ghost pops out at Luigi and that DUN DUN, DUN DUN music plays, and then again when you fight the first boss, a baby ghost named Chauncey who was BORN DEAD (unborn?), and is adorable and very scary at the same time. I feel Sonic Adventure 2: Battle's soundtrack is very underrated as it has possibly the best music I've heard in a video game/Sonic game. When you beat both the Hero and Dark Battles of the game it unlocks the Final Battle stages and the intro to it is very, very creepy to me, especially since it was at night when I first saw it. You hear that eerie piano music that also plays in the flashback of Shadow's conversation with Maria, while you hear the voices of the characters muttering words like "tears" and "the end of everything" as the words appear on a black screen. And then suddenly it all "zooms" together and a deep male voice says, "WISHES ARE ETERNAL". I'm actually getting goosebumps just from typing that. Seriously. 8O Sorry I don't have anything to upload.

For me, the creepy thing about Earthbound's final battle wasn't the music. It was when:

SPOILER AHEAD:

When your real name was mentioned "out of nowhere". At the time, I had forgotten that I actually gave the game my name when I was asked for it in the middle of the game.

Super Paper Mario was pretty forgettable, but I will never forget how ridiculously over-the-top the music is when you jump into the river Twygz (basically the river Styx).

It's creepy in a really "obvious" way, but it is so out of place that it takes you by surprise.
