PC vs videogaming

Memory Stick is the name Sony use for their storage media. I have a CompTIA book where the RAM is called "Memory Stick"
What would you do if your camera had memory on it? I wouldn't like that at all. I'd never want to switch it off, risk draining the battery and have to download from the camera.
Let's treat your RAM like this "memory" you create a RAM disk and store your work on it. Only to restart your computer and it's all gone. All files have to be stored, not memorised.

You don't think a word can mean two things? A box full of junk is not the same 'box' as in the sport.
EDIT: Also, you apparently wouldn't mind if you referred to something as a theory in every day speech, and I countered with "no, you fool, that's an hypothesis!"?
Anyone with half of a CS or IT degree (or has taken at least one course in computer hardware) should know the difference between storage and memory... storage is non-volatile (meaning you don't lose what's on it when power is cut), and memory is volatile... Just because Sony likes to name their products with the wrong name doesn't mean they are the be-all end-all authority on what is "memory" and what isn't...
And one with a very basic introduction in the scientific method knows the difference between a theory and an hypothesis.
It's all about context. Asking people to differentiate between RAM memory and storage of information in every day speech is, well, extremely inane.

Surely 128MB-512MB would be enough?
Not for XP or Vista

Although it has about as much chance of working on my 360 as it does my PC.
It depends on what game it is. If the game requires a beefier GPU to run, there's a chance you could get it running anyway, but most likely you'd need to spend a little money to actually enjoy it. Anything else, like software incompatability, or if the game is too old or something, can usually be worked around with little effort.

Apparently it's incompatible with vista. I've tried the compatibility wizard thing, but that wizard let me down. Several times.
The game is Resident Evil 4, I'm fairly sure my computer meets requirements. If anyone else has Resi 4 on PC and managed to get the f**ker to work, please tell me how. Or is there a trick to using the compatibility thing? I got an F in IT by the way, so I don't actually know what I'm talking about sadly
