Just finished Call of Cthulhu : Dark Corners of the Earth, an horror-themed FPS with some stealth-game and survival horror elements) adapted from The Shadow over Innsmouth and The Shadow out of Time, two H. P. Lovecraft novella. Great atmosphere and plot, but very hard and frustrating gameplay (checkpoint saving, impossibility to skip cutscenes, some bugs - one of them makes the game nearly impossible to finish without cheating).
Now I'm playing Empire Earth (the first), a kind of Age of Empires clone which range from the Stone Age to the far future (there is fourteen technological levels, or fifteen with the expansion pack ; "Stone Age" itself is the name of the second). It features seven campaigns :
- Ancient Greece
- England (from William the Conqueror to the Napoleonic Wars)
- WWI and WWII Germany
- Futuristic Russia
- Ancient Rome
- WWII USA (focused on the Pacific War)
- Futuristic Asia
The three later are only available with the expansion pack The Art of Conquest.
