I can now play red in an incredible speed
I went to see if I could find mine too, whent through my stuff and found three of them in my box of Pokemon Stadium. Though I think it was best to play it on Pokemon Stadium, it also alowed you to organise your pokemon in the lab kind of like the later games. Hey do any of you know or remember that their used to be this thing that if you gave your pokemon certain names they would have slightly different tones to normal, and PS2 also alowed being able to use personal pokemon in some minigames.
Probably one of the hard parts about doing the gold/silver/crystal series is that the cartridges had a battery to help with in game clock, but after about 9 years they are all flat. I also came acros my game of Pokemon Snap, now that was fun aswell, the hours I have spent going through the smae levels trying just to get one better picture or aim for a highscore.

Of that, you are VERY correct, playing the 1st generation pokemon games on transfer pak, fast paced modus is addicting like crack, but it's healthy crack
I'm trying to get pikachu in the viridian forest right now, it's rare, and i plan to get a raichu too so i can comeplete yellow, the only exclusive pokemon blue has i THINK is magmar, meoth andd persian. BTW, henrkisson, do you own this cool s***? If not, i recommend you buy it on ebay RIGHT NOW, because it's so cool and addicting, no wonder it got controversy. I'm so nostalgic riht now..
No thanks, I'm short on both cash and motivation. >_<

Too bad, it's really cool
But don't get down because of that, they're first generation you know
Now i'm about to battle Erika and i have gotten to saffron city
First, a word from our sponsors:

Now, more Pokémon!
We shall sail for Four Island. Hurr hurr.
I could feel that smell all the way from One Island.
Yep, Pokémon actually have sex in this game.
Let's do a little experiment. Aerodactyl and Pidgey should obviously be impossible to bread with each other, but Nintendo has this little story about Mew being the ancestor of all Pokémon, so I guess it makes sense. Sort of. Not really.
Put the two of them in the daycare. And then walk X number of steps, and magic is gonna happen.
They'll still make a baby, though. It just takes longer.
Er, I'll just let Bulbapedia do the explainin', OK?
Do you have no idea whatsoever? You yankin' my chain, bro?
And by 'time' they mean 'steps'.
I crave egg and bacon all of a sudden. Anyone got a Grumpig and a few more eggs? (Caterpie eggs won't do, I want something like a Tauros or Snorlax egg.
)
I got another egg and, well, Pidgey grew by 18 levels and Aerodactyl by 13. Money is not an issue, but still.
What the deuce?
We have been blessed today by this lovely child.
Erik: Why couldn't you have awesome genes like this, Pidgeotto? I hate you!
Pidgeotto:
Finally, let's go into this cave here.
Step on the same tile twice, and you'll fall down.
Gotcha! HM07 Waterfall!
A somewhat useful thingy that raises Ice attacks by 12%.
Also, you can find a Swinub in both versions here, a Sneasel in LeafGreen and a Delibird in FireRed.
Delibird is awesome. But you probably shouldn't use it, what with it's poor stats and all.
Hoho, they're so screwed now.
What? They'd better be pretty damn good if you need my help, that's all I'm saying.
Is this the über-mighty foe you needed help with? Oh, come on. There are mightier wild Pokémon in this cave, FFS.
Finally some violence in this game. Primape will finish them off with some Cross Chops, OK?
All right, I'll reluctantly grant mercy upon them, then...
Hey, don't push your luck!
As a final note, brag to this guy and he'll give you stickers. Yeah, pretty pointless.
Next stop, Five Island!

Back on Two Island, the merchandise has increased...
Anyway, we're going to Five Island!
Oh dear, what a tregedy. From what these people are telling me this fishing in these parts must really suck! Let's have a try.
Oh, something on the hook! Must be a Magikarp, Tentacool or an old boot or something.
That Fisherman must really suck. O_O
We need another password to get in.
Also, why are Team Rocket satisfied with this small little warehouse? They should have the whole island, damnit! What's hindering them from just walking in, anyway? A Poké Center a dock and two houses must surely be something, yes? I saw a guy with a level 47 Muk on the way here, FFS. Oh wait, I get it. They're afraid of the allmighty fisherman.
Some inconveniently placed boulders, again.
Surf to the west, and you'll get this egg. Make sure you have room in your party, though. First time I didn't have room, so I went back to the main island. But because I was apparently ret*d, I went back a second time with a full team. Sigh...
Going north and then east, we find this house. But it is empty. Let's keep pushing eastwards.
Huh? It's called Lost Cave for a reason...
...and it has nothing to do with the TV series!
Anyway, here's how to do it.
9 rocks = 9 o'clock = West
6 rocks = 6 o'clock = South
3 rocks = 3 o'clock = East
Lax Incense - Right, Down
Sea Incense - Right, Up, Down, Up
Max Revive - Right, Up, Down, Down, Right, Right
Rare Candy- Right, Up, Down, Down, Right, Left, Down, Left
Silk Scarf - Right, Up, Down, Down, Right, Left, Down, Right, Up (Get this after helping Selphy)
Pretty straight forward, eh?
Er, sure. *mumbles*lazy-ass person*mumbles*
What, no reward?
Anyway, now you can show her some Pokémon, and she'll give you stuff.
There are some rare Pokémon in Lost Cave, too. But since the encounter rate is so damn low you'll need Sweet Scent. There is 20% chance of finding either Murkrow, in FireRed, or Misdreavous, in LeafGreen. Misdreavous is by far the coolest, since it learns stuff like Pain Split, Grudge and Perish Song. It can also learn a great selection of TMs.
And that wraps up Five Island, for now.
Just one more thing:
I guess he drank some bad tectonic, eh?
Spill some lemonade (by tossing it) on the grave, which is supposedly his favourite drink. and he'll give you TM42 Facade. Tectonix lived by the bottle, died by the bottle.

That's 'aged' as in 'aged beef'.
Er... 61. 61 / 493 = 12.37322515%! Hooray!
Also, he explains that you can't get a full Pokédex by only playing this game alone, apparently because Nintendo wants you to buy a lot of their products. There's a reason Nintendo dropped the slogan 'Gotta Catch 'Em All'. That's only for the more dedicated (read: nuts) players.
Growing old is inevitable, growing up ain't.
Make that 62!
There's the Pattern Bush, Altering Cave and Dotted Hole. Let's go check out this Hotted Dole, first. Bring a Pokémon with Cut and Strength with you.
A Sun Stone! Pretty handy if you want a Bellossom.
A Sudowoodo! Too bad it's a trainer Pokémon, though. But you can catch it in Emerald!
I'm a cannibal looking for real fat and tasty Ruin Maniacs. In other words, I'm going to ruin your day. *badum-TISCH*
'Cut'. Probably written by an emo.
Go Up, Left, Right and Down.
Gotcha! I hope nothing unexpected and annoying happens now...
Oh, for crying out loud. At least he gives you a Password - 'Yeah, nah, Chansey'.
Find her a really big and fat Heracross, and... something really cool happens, I guess.
It can be found in Pattern Bush, along with other cool bugs.
http://www.legendarypokemon.net/images/ ... rk/214.png
It's so horny...
Even though paralyzing it and dragging it down to, like, 1 HP I still had to waste 4 Great Balls on it.
The Altering Cave has 100% chance of encountering Zubat. Woohoo!
Using Mystery Gift, you can find Mareep, Aipom, Pineco, Shuckle, Teddiursa, Houndour, Stantler and Smeargle.
And, well, that's Six Island in a nut shell. ![]()

interesting that they have the brail in the credits before it appears in the game. Reminds me of when in one of the games you get a free brail alphabet card which I found was cool because I could write in brail. Though I do wonder at whether the Japanese or other languages use a different brail alphabet or even the fact that when they do the Uknown that it might be hard to translate, as the Uknown resemble english letters.
