anyway, anyone else play dentarg horde here? because i'm after a new guild for me and my alts, i've got a 28 und mage, a 69 hunter, and a 80 dk with 4.6k GS 4/5 t9 and i do about 4k dps, at the moment i'm looking for a casual raiding guild so if anyone's interested PM me on here.

btw anyone know the rewards for the Cataclysm launch event? what i do know is they're about the reclamation of Gnomeregan and the troll place by sen'jiin village, i forget the name. because i'm hoping they're like last year with the scourge invasion. just less annoying. anyway anyone able to get back to me about that guild on anvilmar i might make a alt to play around with on there, what faction is it aswell : /

Nice one! :)

I used to play, but I've been clean since before WotLK. 8)

Same here. That's when I decided to quit for good. I'd already 'quit' once, for about a half year, but came back. But this time, there's no way I'm going back. It sucks me in way too hard. Balance druid was a pretty rockin class, never got old.

What do you mean by this? I might tend to agree.....

Well, Ive taken a break from WoW, starting in Feb and Im strangely not missing it . . . missing the people i enjoyed spending time with though. My current plan is to take my official break from WoW until Cataclysm comes out (hopefully, my financial situation will improve by then), but i may not spend more than a month at it unless i just get absolutely hooked on what's being added. I still wish they would add something besides, "Go, kill this, get that, and talk to him/her" quests because that just bored the hell out of me . . . Id love some actual problem solving quests to use other areas of my brain.

Runescape quests are interesting... There are some that are practically impossible without without a quest help.

to be honest, i would enjoy some more World Pvp areas like wintergrasp, or something a little less edgy, as addicting as the game is it's repetitive, like there isn't anything to do other than, Pvp, Pve Rp or gold farming, it would be a welcome change for some kind of permanent event like one of the holidays,

Well, balls. It looks like my account was frozen so now I have to wait for Blizz to confirm my ownership before I can actually play.

Frozen means that you do not have any gametime on it. Not that you're banned

I gave my WoW install disks to the charity shop, just to be on the safe side.

As an update to my earlier post, I've moved all of my Character's over to the Horde side on Feathermoon (RP). Rinncewind and Tooflower are my current toons, and I have a few inactive ones as well. Feathermoon was the server that I first started out on, and its strange and weird culture never ceases to amaze me. It was the first of the RP servers, but no one really RPs outside of Silvermoon and Darnasses. Most of the active players have been on WoW for a long time and so you rarely run into other people leveling new toons. Non-endgame profession materials are always in high demand and sell for outrageously high prices at the AH (30G for a stack for wool cloth =| ), and the city trade chat is home to some of the hottest and most hateful flame wars on the internet. Just don't call them trolls, that is considered racist by the (very small) troll rp community. The term 'Murlocking' is preferred. But all that nonsense aside, it's a pretty cool, if slightly elitist, realm.

I have to say that I really like the direction the game is being taken in since the last few patches. Getting tier-9 gear is so easy now, and while some people might see it as cheapining the game, I think's made all the awesome end game activities more open to people who might have lacked the ability to network with others the way you had to back in the day.

I was a 70 fire mage with Brutallis under my belt when I quit and when I rejoined I got 80 and went frostfire, which sucked, and couldn't get into Uldum. Hate how the gear controls the game, I was always the mage tank whenever the raid needed it.

My cousin and her boyfriend got me back into it yesterday so I've made a Tauren Frost Death Knight Named BlizzBuffalo on Medivh to play/tank with them.

Tried to name him after this guy

I'm playing wow but only private servers, the real wow requiers alot of time if you want to make some nice progress and to realy enjoy the game(like we all here struggle with the obsession problem) so its pretty worthless & dangerous because it will become to real obsession for me, I feel like abit obsessed even with the private servers right now lol my bad...
anyway, right now its my free time so if there is any europe/asia private server players here post the link to the server you're playing coz I'm looking for one right now but it must be from europe or asia, US servers = high latency for me :(
