I've owned Chameleon Twist 2 for a little more than a decade and I still haven't beaten it, mainly because it's one of the few Nintendo 64 games that requires a memory card, which I lack. Meaning I would have to beat it in one sitting, which is impossible. And I don't really think beating it is that important because it's not like there's some huge story I'm missing out on.

I remember northern crater now actually, that area always spooked me out so I also went around the world a few more times before delving in!

I have games for Super Nintendo that I got when they came out that I never beaten or beat but never accomplished everything there is to do in it.

I owned Impossible Creatures for roughly twelve years before I got around to completing the story mode (and I've put thousands and thousands of hours into the game throughout all those years).

looks like i won't be able to beat skullmonkeys  the last level, the one i seriously cannot pass, is the only one that crashes the game if you try to skip. fml

I did that the first time around owning FFVII. I sold it without ever beating it. The second time owning FFVII I decided to complete it. I thought that leaving things unfinished wasn't a very good thing to do in life, so I tried to start finishing things that I started.

Skipping levels doesn't count as beating the game ;)

ALTTP wasn't on the game boy in '97. you're probably thinking of link's awakening.

ALTTP came out on the game boy advance in 2002, with four swords.

I've also had Metroid Fusion for years and I didn't even get halfway through it! I recently sold it.

I can't play any of the online games. Oh well. I think I prefer single player games anyway [except for Smash Bros.].

I can somewhat relate especially MMORPG games. Too much going on for me.
Oooh Smash Bros! I love that game. Wasn't there a Wii U version of the game?

^Yep. I have the Wii one [Brawl] and the 3DS one [Smash 4]. My best characters to use are Zero Suit Samus, Marth, Zelda/Sheik, Robin, Corrin, and Cloud.
