Makes me think of some insane person praying at an altar to some made up god that he hears every second of his life expecting a reward for his praise on recieving a slow painful death by starvation and horrible hygiene.

I don't find this song "disturbing" per se, but to me it seems to be saying: "you've got a long way to go and you aren't going to make it."

Also, this (at 2:55) scared the bejeezus out of me the first time I saw/heard it. I knew what the letter would be since I had seen the player's guide, but I was not expecting the music and flashing. I know it was just the beginning of the normal battle of music, but it really gave me a good scare since it was so unexpected.

Man, I can't believe someone got to it before me. But you know what's really creepy, playing the Forest temple theme and the Shadow temple theme at the same time.

But seriously, even now this one creeps me out, if only because I have some scary memories of that boss fight:

Two disturbing soundtracks from the American version of Sonic CD would haunt you such as the 3rd Act boss fight with Eggman, and the game over screen if Sonic runs out of lives.

I always thought this was a weird track it is unlike most all of the background music in sonic games and is rather strange/haunting you only hear it for a few seconds before starting the final boss fights in the game unless you hang around and listen.

Kingdom Hearts - Birth by Sleep: The music that plays in the Keyblade Graveyard is one of the more unsettling musical arrangements I've heard in a game, and it really heightens the sense of the unknown as you move through the area.

I first heard it at the end of Kingdom Hearts II after beating that game on Proud Mode and unlocking the secret trailer, and I've at once loved and reviled it ever since.
