Chances are this was mentioned already, but I would want a Final Fantasy VII remake.

Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy 7, and Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkiachi series.

I loved those games as a kid.

Def Jam Fight For NY remake for PS3 and Xbox 360. The remake would be good such as having new fighters who didn't make it in the original such as DMX, Keith Murray, Funkmaster Flex, and other generic fighters from Vendetta. Also the remake might have new Blazin' moves and new fighting styles to refine the gameplay such as the ability to mount your opponent while they're on the ground like from the PSP version of the game.

Chrono Trigger or Earthbound could be nice. Not necessarily for any changes in gameplay(though perhaps more stuff could be added or expanded upon), but I think it would be nice to see their worlds fully realized in 3D, and perhaps more could be done with some sophisticated cel-shading.

I agree with that too. They could also do Earthbound Zero and Mother 3.

Yeah forgot to mention those. Looking back over this thread it seems they've already been suggested, so I guess I'll post some more:

Legend of Zelda - What with all the other ports and remakes the series has had, the biggest one having been Ocarina of Time, it sees this title gets neglected quite a bit. While Skyward Sword is my favorite of the series(next to The Wind Waker), I do feel that it is about time we've had a non-linear Zelda title, and if the developers are too incompetent to design a new game this way, then we should at least get an overhaul on an older game. An alternative could be Adventure of Link, which I think could be more enjoyable with today's technology.

Halo 2 - Not exactly old school, but since they remade Combat Evolved I think it's only fair. Maybe I'm a bit biased though, seeing as to how it's my favorite Halo game.

Killer7 - Again, not so old either, but I think it could fit better with the controls the WiiU will introduce, and with Suda51 having gained popularity, it could get the recognition it really deserves. Perhaps it could even have its own spin on the survival mode trends other games have had lately added as a separate mode.

Viewtiful Joe and Gradius V HD on XBLA/PSN would be great.

I think that Gradius V is probably the most underrated PS2 game.

Interesting you mention Halo 2. I guess I could see a remake of the game like they did with anniversary or an HD remake of it like they are doing with HD collections now. I'm not a fan of Halo, but I think it would be good to see.
