South Park Stick Of Truth.

It is a nice joke and it was well executed and everything but it is probably not worth its current price tag/ the praise it is getting on some online communities

it was the 90's , as a 20's something it was funny while it lasted time to move on .....

cynical cash in have you played southpark on ps1, the joke is the game itself , lucky it was pirated for me , not that I do that these days .

I pirated this one after the hype to see if it was worth it and didnt spend an hour playing to determine it was a joke and not worth the $60.

Didnt get to play the ps1 version though so I have no comment on that one

Titanfall, just felt like such an empty unengaging experience. Really dont understand why it got so much media praise, and cant believe i wasted £40 on it.

Underrated games , their underrated for a reason , often fall in the JRPG genre , Lost Odessey is a stand out for me can it get any more trite and formulaic ?

I want to say Call of Duty...but when almost everybody I talk to over the age of 14 agrees that COD is overrated, is it really overrated anymore? Maybe it's rated exactly where it should be: as a disposable cash cow that's lost the relevance it once had. Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Quake, Heretic...now those were great FPS's. When you think about it, nothing really important has been done in the genre since then. Id Software perfected the formula on PC and everything that came after was just more bells and whistles.

Believe it or not, I've only bought ONE game at full price in my whole life. It was Soul Calibur II, 11 years ago. :P

I'll go with Counter-strike: Source or whatever it's called. I;ve watched people play this, and holy boredom, Batman! Tends to consist of very, very brief engagements followed by looooooooooooong waits for respawns, and sometimes looooooooooooong waits for the next round to start. Of all of the shooters I've ever seen, this is by far the one I have the lowest opinion of.

And then Destiny. Just..... sigh. It had originally looked like they were doing something NEW. One of the big developers, actually trying something DIFFERENT? I normally only see that with indie devs! And Destiny's gameplay concepts sounded interesting! And then it came out, and I watched a good amount of it, aaaaaaand..... Yep, it's Halo again. Oh there's story modes and blah blah blah, but apparently it's NOT a long game, and surprise surprise, people end up just getting focused on PvP which they then do over and over again.... and which looks exactly like Halo. Groan.

Titanfall now, that I actually like. A *fast* moving shooter for once with alot of mobility. Less of the waiting, less of the sniping (I hate sniping so much.... so very, very much), and as far from being Counter-strike as possible. I aint very good at shooters, but that's one even I got into.

ASS CREED

Everything wrong with the industry can be found in this game , when the cool kids love a cerebral and or challenging game and the haters say said games suck they will say just go play COD child , well I don't think COD is that bad in fact it can be "fun" = to the 12 year old going to the big city to watch a big budget action film for the 1 st time ......

Than you grow up and realise it's lacking depth ,I don't hate it though these days it doesn't do anything for me , unlike Ass Creed , one of the few games I despise and am totally at lost to understand it's appeal . :?

The appeal is to parkour and explore ancient cities (And to be a pirate for Assassin's Creed 4), which is why Assassin's Creed 3 is the weakest title as colonial Boston and New-York are pretty lame.

I don't doubt that , it's what attracted me to the franchise , the lack of depth , repetition and lack of challenge which killed it for me .

Yeah, same here.

It looked pretty cool, and the combat mechanics are fun, as is running and leaping around, but.... the game was so freaking easy that it just couldnt hold my attention at all, despite the variety of cool stuff in it.

The first AS seemed cool, the second had the one Mario reference...after that it became a mess to me. I really don't find it worth it to get into a series with a dedicated yearly release. The only good stuff that's come out of it is the costume and haystack box in MGS4 and Peace Walker.

Ubisoft I see them as a company &*^ing up great games , they could have made ass creed awesome with some tweaks , the only ubisoft game I enjoy is Far Cry 2 played it 3 times on the hardest difficulty :D
