Street Fighter II for SNES. Using Ryu, beat the game at level 8 without losing a single match (beat everyone 2-0). At the end of the credits, it has a special screen saying "You are a Ryu master!".
ive never managed to repeat that despite several tries.

I'm a little surprised that no one's mentioned this yet, so here goes:
I've actually beaten the first God of War...on GOD Mode!! It WASN'T easy, let me tell you! And I've also beaten the PS1 version of Metal Gear Solid 1 on Extreme Mode [making sure I failed the interrogation, so I could get the stealth camo at the end!]...
In the RPG sense, I think I've got something that NO ONE ELSE can claim...
I beat Ultima Weapon in Final Fantasy VIII...on my VERY FIRST TRY!! {though I did have a little help from a certain 'Lionheart' move} But wouldn't you know it, I forgot to draw the Eden Guardian Force out of it!

Beat Warcraft 3 without a single code. Everyone else I know that beat it got lazy and used codes through the whole thing. What's the point?? It's supposed to be little chalenging.
But... I'd have to say my proudest video game moment was beating Ruby Weapon on Final Fantasy VII!! I actually did it twice just to see if I could do it again, and because the first time I was too excited to save afterwards, and didn't have the Desert Rose in my inventory to prove my feat to my sister and friends. It takes almost an hour of non-stop battling to kill it, and that's if you don't ever die and have to start over.

You're missing out. You should really play FF VII if nothing else. I consider it the best game of all time, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. FF IX was another really good one, but VII is still at the tippy top for me.

I'm running through Megaman ZX Advent for the first time and I'm beating bosses on the first try. I've suddenly began to profit from attack/evasion patterns (namely jump-dashing + charging + wall bouncing) I became used to during the GBA and SNES games.
I miss a bit the times when I had to try a given boss over and over again. . .
For example, in Megaman X (SNES) there was a "bull" boss that could be beat by wall climbing and using the homing missiles from the Octopus guy. At first it still seemed insanely hard; homing missiles and all. . . Later, I learned to beat him with just the default weapon by moving in with a jump-dash from the wall to charge-shoot him point blank (had to be up close 'cause he teleported) and then jump-dashing back to safety to look for the next chance.
On the first GBA Megaman Zero, Phantom and Fenrir required me quite a few attempts - it seems that that kind of skill has accumulated to be used in newer games.
I guess I probably have similar experiences with RPGs, FPS and fighting games which is what I played the most. (FFIII on the DS was a piece of cake for the most part. . . so was Castlevania, Dawn of Sorrow. . . )

Beat Super Mario Sunshine with all shines and Grand Theft Auto San Andres 100%(not worth it)
