Final Fantasy XIII
All that hype and then what was actually produced was actually the driest, most annoying games I've ever tried to play. Terrible characters and a linear story do not a proper FF make.

Let's see.... I guess I'd have to say that the worst to me was when I came under the impression that the PS version of Oni had multiplayer, and eventually actually got to play it at a friend's house, only to find out it was not, and that the MP was in the plans at one point, but was canceled. .__.;; At least, that's the worst I remember offhand. There's probably been worse.

Bayonetta really disappointed me.

I saw loads of reviews giving it awesome scores like 10/10, but I just can't get into it. There's just too many ways to attack, so I just feel overwhelmed. I find the main characters really hard to like, and it all just feels too floaty for me.

I suppose I can see why the magazines liked it so much, but I was so disappointed. =/

Spore. It was not the same game Will Wright demonstrated at GDC 2005.

I never played Spore but was looking forward to it when I got my new computer.. Aside from the DRM, I thought it'd be a good game.. what's wrong with it? That'd be a bummer then if it's not so great.

Spore doesn't look that disappointing.. I wouldn't mind playing it. Though it may be one of those things you only play once a year, it looks time consuming and not enough utility's .. micro-managing, I may have expected it to have more detail , more weapons.. city managment like schools, buildings .. and the entire planet bigger. Other than that, I'd still get it!

The real thing that is disappointing about it is the game takes on the mentality if we can not do one thing good we'll just do many different things
sub-par.

I admit I enjoy it for a couple of days but it gets stale too fast.

I've got a few:

Godzilla: Unleashed - As much as I love godzilla and his games, this one is pretty much 60% done upon release. There's a bunch of glitches within it and so of the characters are broken... The previous two sequels, although missing some characters were (and are) still fun...

Sonic '06 - If it's anything I like about this game, it's the scenes involving Sonic and Princess Elise (of course, excluding Sonic's revival...) I think the two are sweet together and it's the only Sonic pairing I like (note: Sonic pairing, there are others...) But with that aside, the game is incredibly unfinished and of the levels are nearly impossible to get an S rank (but in all aspects, what's so fun about hard mode anyways?)

Sonic Unleashed - I cannot play this game for more than 5 minutes without getting sick to my stomach, and I don't mean I hate it (which I do) I mean I get such awful motion sickness playing Sonic's levels it makes me want to puke.

WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2009 for the Wii - As much as I love the Xbox 360 version of this game, I have to play the Wii version more because I bro is a gamer-point whore. The Wii is missing some of the fun features the other ones had; CAW pieces, Create-a-finisher. (I could care less about Online...)

Biggest has to be the Wii. More fool me for falling for the hype. £179.99 down the drain.

Basically buying a Gamecube back in the day was stupid. Most of the games I bought sucked except for Smash Bros. and Paper Mario. This is compared to finding every game on the 64 to be awesome. :?

Shadowrun the 2007 FPS from Microsoft. Who takes one of the richest most inovative RPG settings of all time and, turns it into a FPS?

I loved Shadowrun.

Bioshock 2 was disappointing to me.
