Online that is? I own the latest game for DS and I looooooove online play. 8)

So does any other aspie? Most people are too busy with their PSP's playing Twisted Metal and whatnot :( . But if you don't own a DS I suggest you buy the Red Hot DS bundle, WITH MK included! As for those who do own MK, could you PM me your friend codes so that we can play a few rounds? (note: I don't want to post them on this topic on the count of privacy issues.....)

I still don't have a DS... when I eventually break down and buy one, that'll be near the top of my list.

Big-time fan of the Super NES version, a lesser fan of the N64 version... haven't played any of the others

I don't have a DS, I had one at launch but was disgusted by the lack of games and sold it. But with all the good new games released for it, I'm sorely tempted. Rest assured, if I do get one in the new future, I will get it with Mario Kart, and will look forward to racing you! :)

I love that ! I played the SNES, the , and currently I play the Cube version. I don't have any plans for the the DS version, mostly because I don't have DS system, nor do I have the money to buy one at the moment. Mario Kart is the only racing I enjoy.

I played in on Nintendo with my kids years ago and became obsessed with it. One of the all-time best video games IMO. Go Luigi!

I've been a Nintendo kid since day one, and I always loved MarioKart :) Best kart racer ever! The SNES original will always have a special place in my heart, but MarioKart64, DoubleDash, and MarioKartDS are all fantastic too. 'Though I was a little disappointed with how easy the DS game was :( Even 150cc wasn't really challenging... but it was still fun. GO YOSHI!!

If I want to play online, would I still have to buy the game?

Uh yeah. But once you have it there's really no charge involved to play the game. 8)

I only own Mario Kart 64 (Nintendo 64 version) and I can kick anyone I know's arse at it.

I am quite a newbie at it as I only bought a DS today with MK, but I'm yet to submit my friend code.

http://ds.ign.com/articles/665/665128p1.html Beware: Slow page load.

If you've got a broadband internet connection, you can use the USB thingy.

If not, the DS should work at almost any Wi-Fi hotspot (your local library may be one) though.

I live in Upstate NY. I've really only got one hotspot, and it's at home. My college router only permits laptops..... :(
