Istaria is basically like any other mmo except for the fact that you can play as dragons(you can be humanoids as well though like humans and elves and fiends and sartyrs and little annoying fairy type creatures ). It has graphics problems a lot but its pretty fun. It does allow you to fly if you want to be a dragon but if you want to be a humanoid other than a dryad(tree fairy) you obviously can't. You can also construct homes for yourselves. If you're a dragon, you can learn a skill where you turn into a humanoid version of a dragon so you can access humanoid houses. The downsides are that it takes forever to download and unless you play free version (you're confined to bieng a human in free mode) or trial 2-week mode(you can be anything) you have to pay 9.95 usd to play. If anyone plays, my name is zharek raldeesh and i'm a male golden baby dragon with lime green spots and red underbelly. I'm considering making a file for a sslik(hermaphroditic lizard-people) character or saris(cat-person) character soon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCH7_ktriqY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sQSBT9Y ... re=related

I just found an aspie on istaria within 10 minutes of introducing myself so I guess I'm not alone. Usually on the server I go to, there are like 30 to 100 people but everybody stays in one place so unless you're questing, you're surrounded by other players but its not overwhelming when compared to runescape and wow. They'll stay on for hours just talking in roleplay fashion. Most players like the non-roleplaying server. Istaria has 3 or 4 different languages that you can teach yourself but they aren't necessary. I'm learning Eilert Erdoten the dragon language. Ieo denenne ol kemenne Eilert Erdoten(I want to learn Dragon speak). http://roleplay.orderunderground.org/wi ... e-Eilerten

The players are so nice. it's not like wow or runescape where most people are what you'd consider normal, casual people. I remember how mean everybody was to me in runescape. I'm already in a guild and I've only been playing for a week. The free version of the game says that you can only be a human but my friend founfd out its a lie. So technically you can just play. only thing is, you can only have one character and you cant make a house or lair.
