Anyone else here playing, or going to be playing, the Planetside 2 beta, or the official release?

For anyone not familiar with Planetside 2, have a look at the official website, and at the PS2 wikipedia article for info.

I'm priority beta key holder, so I'll be getting into the beta in 2-3 weeks, myself. I couldn't be bothered to spend the $33.00 to buy PS1 and a 1-month subscription, just to have access to the closed beta on day 1.

I'm also a member of the Jet Bastards air cavalry outfit. I'm thinking of having a second character, though; one where I can just muck around independently and do whatever with. For anyone who's curious, I'm with the New Conglomerate all the way.

I will play it when it comes out. Looks great from what I have seen of it so far!

I am in closed beta due to having a SOE All Access pass before the deadline. Also a former PS1 vet.

Cool. What faction do you play as?

I'd be a long-time PS1 vet myself, but back then, my parents didn't want me to spend my allowance on a monthly subscription to an online game.
