Anyone else play this, I just found out about it last week and it is amazing. Much better than CoH. It is kind of like Star Wars, Star Trek and Babylon 5 all rolled into one...

I played the trial version twice, but never signed up for a subscription. The visuals and music are really beautiful, but the gameplay is very boring. I was never able to find an effective way to make money and finding wars to participate in were pretty much impossible. It was also kind of rare to find anyone floating around. Space is lonely.

I did buy the book though, and I find it pretty decent. There are some parts which seem to drag on and on and im very disapointed 90% of it pretty much takes place in corporation meetings. The beginning was very interesting though. I forget the characters' names, but its that small crew with the junky spaceship. They appear later on in the book at a bar in a space station. I would really love the book if it focused on those guys instead of all this corporation dialog.

Join a corporation, and get them to give you a 500 million signing bonus...it really helps. Also, What I am planning on doing at some point is become like, accountant or something in a corporation, and steal all their money. As far as no one in space, I have NO problem finding people especially in the low security systems, where you can kill people without fear of reprisal. What I do is wait for people in low sec and ambush them...then take their cargo...

Ah, you're a pirate. Actually, I have found people but they were mostly around the main space station. I was Gallentean. That map is really confusing for me, so it was hard to find those low security areas. I dont know anyone that plays, so I cant find a corporation either. Man, im just a walking pile of excuses, arent I? :)

To use the map, click on the system you want to travel to, press add route and it will show you which jumps to use, how many jumps, etc.

Tried it for a while, incredibly boring even though I tried to like it. At every turn you make, you're punished, and don't even think about battling other players.
